Osteotech, Inc., (Nasdaq: OSTE) 63.7% HIGHER; Medtronic Inc., (NYSE: MDT) and Osteotech today announced that the companies have signed a definitive agreement under which Medtronic will acquire Osteotech for $6.50 per share in cash for each share of Osteotech common stock. The total value of the transaction is expected to be approximately $123 million.
Pacific Ethanol, Inc. (Nasdaq: PEIX) 27.2% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $1.43, which compares to a loss of $0.49 last year. Revenue for the quarter was $76.8 million, compared to $70.1 million in the same quarter last year.
Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. (NYSE: POT) 26.6% HIGHER; received and unanimously rejected an unsolicited proposal from BHP Billiton Limited (NYSE: BHP) to enter into a transaction under which BHP Billiton would acquire PotashCorp for US$130 per share in cash.
Radio One Inc. (Nasdaq: ROIAK) 20.7% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.04, versus $0.12 reported for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $75.19 million, compared to $69.87 million in Q209.
The LGL Group, Inc. (NYSE: LGL) 20.4% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.97, versus ($0.43) reported for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $12.54 million, compared to $7.24 million in Q209.
Triple-S Management Corporation (NYSE: GTS) 17.4% LOWER; last night lowered its FY10 operating sales guidance from $2-$2.1 billion to $1.8-$1.9 billion, which compares to the Street estimate of $2.14 billion.

Cumberland Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: CPIX) 8.2% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.01, 2 cents worse than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Cumberland is providing full year 2010 revenue guidance: The Company expects its net revenue for the twelve-month period ended December 31, 2010, to be between $42 and $43 million.
