Misonix (Nasdaq: MSON) 37.6% HIGHER; US HIFU received unanimous approval from its Data and Safety Monitoring Board to continue enrollment in its FDA-approved prospective clinical trial investigating the use of high intensity focused ultrasound technology delivered via the Sonablate 500 medical device to treat localized primary prostate cancer. US HIFU intends to submit the completed data to the FDA in support of its request for commercial approval to treat primary prostate cancer in the U.S. Sonablate 500 was developed by Focus Surgery, Inc. and is manufactured in part by Misonix.

Radient Pharmaceuticals Corporation (Amex: RPC) 27.8% HIGHER; Radient's AMDL Diagnostics announced today diagnostics development and commercialization firm Provista Life Sciences LLC has independently validated Radient Pharmaceuticals' Onko-Sure in vitro diagnostic cancer test as a potential screening tool for breast cancer detection.

Overstock.com Inc. (Nasdaq: OSTK) 24% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.16, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.07). Revenue for the quarter was $264.3 million, which compares to the estimate of $222.51 million.

Leapfrog (NYSE: LF) 22.9% LOWER; reports Q1 adjusted loss of $0.33, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.28). Revenue for the quarter was $42.4 million, which compares to the estimate of $43.37 million. Reaffirms FY10 outlook.

Actuate Corporation (Nasdaq: ACTU) 21.2% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.06, ex-items, 4 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenue for the quarter was $30.1 million, which compares to the estimate of $32.55 million. The stock was also downgraded at Roth Capital.

Technitrol Inc. (NYSE: TNL) 19.5% LOWER; reports Q1 adj-loss of $0.24, versus the analyst estimate of $0.04. Revenue for the quarter was $92.9 million, which compares to the estimate of $96.17 million. Sees Q2 sales of $102-$108 million, versus the consensus of $101.3 million.

Nutrisystem (Nasdaq: NTRI) 17.4% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.15, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenue for the quarter was $158.8 million, which compares to the estimate of $155.50 million. The stock was also upgraded to Buy at Lazard.

Alvarion (Nasdaq: ALVR) 16.1% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $0.06, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.02). Revenue for the quarter was $51.94 million, which compares to the estimate of $55.72 million.

Oxygen Biotherapeutics, Inc (Nasdaq: OXBT) 15.7% LOWER; announced today that it entered into purchase agreements with certain institutional investors for the sale of 1,724,138 shares of its common stock and warrants to purchase 732,758 shares of its common stock. The shares of common stock and warrants are being offered in units consisting of one share of common stock and a warrant to purchase 0.425 share of common stock at a price of $2.90 per unit. The warrants have a term of five years and an exercise price of $5.32 per share.

Carmike Cinemas (Nasdaq: CKEC) 13.4% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $0.27, versus the analyst estimate of $0.04. Revenue for the quarter was $124.2 million, which compares to the estimate of $123.43 million.

Strategic Diagnostics Inc. (Nasdaq: SDIX) 12.7% LOWER; reports a Q1 loss of $459,000, or $0.02 per share, on sales of $6.7 million. The company reported a loss of $0.03 per share on sales of $6.9 million in the same quarter last year. Q1 gross margin was 59%.

PRGX Global, Inc. (Nasdaq: PRGX) 11.9% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $0.15, 4 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenue for the quarter was $41.3 million, which compares to the estimate of $47 million.

Sangamo BioSciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: SGMO) 11.5% LOWER; reports a Q1 loss of $0.09, 9 cents worse than estimates. Revenues were $6.65 million vs. $11.24 million consensus.

Radian Group (NYSE: RDN) 11.4% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $3.77, which may not compared to the analyst estimate of ($0.82). Revenue for the quarter was $127.81 million, which compares to the estimate of $193.82 million. The company also announced a $550 million common stock offering.

Akorn (Nasdaq: AKRX) 11.3% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.04, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.00. Revenue for the quarter was $20.5 million, which compares to the estimate of $19.14 million. Raises its FY10 sales guidance to $76-$80 million, versus the consensus of $71.18 million.

CombinatoRx (Nasdaq: CRXX) 11.2% HIGHER; continuing higher today following a 27% surge yesterday. Volume remains very heavy.

LookSmart (Nasdaq: LOOK) 10.7% LOWER; correcting today following a 15% rise yesterday amid better-than-expected Q1 results.

Westlake Chemical Corp. (NYSE: WLK) 10.7% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.27, 2 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.29. Revenue for the quarter was $778.33 million, which compares to the estimate of $671.94 million.

Pinnacle Airlines (Nasdaq: PNCL) 10.4% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.09, versus the analyst estimate of $0.22. Revenue for the quarter was $208.08 million, which compares to the estimate of $207.22 million.

Greenlight Capital Re, Ltd. (Nasdaq: GLRE) 10.1% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $0.34, versus a gain of $0.77 reported for the same period a year ago.

TNS Inc (NYSE: TNS) 9.9% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.56, even with the analyst estimate of $0.56. Revenue for the quarter was $129.6 million, which compares to the estimate of $129.01 million. Sees FY10 EPS of $2.80 - $2.96, versus $2.90 consensus. Also sees FY10 sales of $545 - $561 million, versus $554 million consensus.

Beazer Homes USA Inc. (NYSE: BZH) 9.2% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS from continuing operations of $0.10, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.62). Revenue for the quarter was $198.2 million, which compares to the estimate of $191.44 million. Q2 backlog was 1,781 homes. To offer 12.5 million in common stock and 3 million in tangible equity units.

Carefusion (NYSE: CFN) 9.1% HIGHER; hearing upgraded to Buy at BofA Merrill.

DineEquity (NYSE: DIN) 8.7% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $1.08, ex-items, versus the analyst estimate of $0.78. Revenue for the quarter was $357.97 million, which compares to the estimate of $360.26 million. Reaffirms guidance.

GTX (Nasdaq: GTXI) 8.3% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $1.22, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of $1.17. Revenue for the quarter was $56.6 million, which compares to the estimate of $56.77 million.
