Limelight Networks (Nasdaq: LLNW) 34.3% HIGHER; announced that the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts has granted Limelight's motion for judgment as a matter of law, setting aside a prior jury verdict and ruling that Limelight does not infringe U.S. Patent No. 6,108,703 in Akamai Technologies (Nasdaq: AKAM) v. Limelight Networks, Inc. (Civil Action No. 06-11109-RWZ). Limelight Networks expects this ruling to allow it to reverse expenses of approximately $66 million accrued for potential damages and interest.

Silicom Ltd. (NASDAQ: SILC) 19.9% LOWER; today announced that it has been selected by one of the world's largest manufacturers of application acceleration solutions to supply multi-port cards for its appliances, and that, based on customer's forecasts, it expects the volume of associated purchase orders to begin ramping up gradually to an annual level of $3 million. The company also issued lower Q1 earnings.

(Nasdaq: XNPT) 16.7% LOWER; XNPT and GlaxoSmithKline (NYSE: GSK) announced results from a Phase II clinical trial of GSK1838262/XP13512 (gabapentin enacarbil) for neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy in adults. GSK1838262 did not demonstrate a statistically significant improvement on the primary endpoint when compared to placebo, based on the change from baseline to end of treatment on the Pain Intensity-Numerical Rating Scale. Orient-Express Hotels (NYSE: OEH) 15.1% LOWER; besides airline stocks, hotel and travel stocks are also moving lower on the swine flu news.

Smithfield Foods (NYSE: SFD) 14.6% LOWER; as a large food processor, Smithfield is tumbling on the swine flu news.

Royal Caribbean Cruises (NYSE: RCL) 13.7% LOWER; swine flu concerns

The Timken Company (NYSE: TKR) 11.9% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.07, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.02) and compared to $0.82 in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter was $960.4 million, versus the consensus of $1.08 billion. Lowers its Fy09 non-GAAP earnings guidance to a loss of $0.15 to a gain of $0.15. The Street is currently looking for FY09 EPS of $0.78. Lowers its quarterly cash dividend by 50% from $0.18 to $0.09 per common share.

Travelzoo (Nasdaq: TZOO) 9.6% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.02, 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.05). Revenue for the quarter was $23.4 million, versus the consensus of $20.05 million.

Zhongpin (Nasdaq: HOGS) 9.1% LOWER; swine flu concerns.

Whirlpool (NYSE: WHR) 7.8% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.91, compared to $1.22 in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter was $3.6 billion, versus the consensus of $3.95 billion. Reaffirms its FY09 EPS guidance of $3.00-$4.00. The Street is currently looking for FY09 EPS of $2.78.

PrivateBancorp (Nasdaq: PVTB) 7% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.14, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.02). Revenue for the quarter was $88.3 million, versus the consensus of $78.06 million.

Hearst-Argyle TV (NYSE: HTV) 6.6% HIGHER; announced today that it has increased the price per share that it will offer to pay for all of the outstanding shares of Series A Common Stock of Hearst-Argyle Television, Inc. (NYSE: HTV) not already owned by Hearst from $4.00 to $4.50 in cash per share. The increased offer price represents a 12.5% increase over the original proposed offer price of $4.00 per share, a premium of approximately 115% over the closing price of the shares on March 24, 2009, the last full trading day prior to the first public announcement of Hearst's proposed offer, and a premium of approximately 154% above the average closing price of the shares for the 20 trading days immediately preceding March 24.

Humana (NYSE: HUM) 6.1% HIGHER; reports Q1 earnings of $1.22 per share, above the consensus of $1.18. Revenues came in at $7.71 billion, versus the consensus of $7.65 billion. Humana sees Q2 EPS of $1.65-$1.70 versus the consensus of $1.50. Humana sees FY09 EPS of $6.10-6.20 versus the consensus of $5.90. Sees FY09 revenues of $30-$32 billion, versus the consensus of $30.84 billion.
