Sees Q1 revs of $123-$125 million, versus the consensus of $123 million, and EPS of $0.02-$0.04, versus the consensus of $0.07. MORE

Genesis Lease (NYSE: GLS) 23% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.30, 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.23. MORE

Cache, Inc. (Nasdaq: CACH) 19% HIGHER; reports Q4 loss of $0.32, 6 cents worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.26). Revenues for the quarter were $65.9 million, versus the consensus of $66.13 million. Sees Q1 loss of $0.12-$0.16, versus the consensus of a loss of $0.12.  MORE

MGM MIRAGE (NYSE: MGM) 15% LOWER; Continuing lower as the company has delayed the filing of its 10-K.

Joy Global (Nasdaq: JOYG) 13% HIGHER; reports Q1 earnings of $0.83 per share, above the consensus of $0.76. Revenues came in at $755 million, versus the consensus of $782.3 million. Joy Global sees FY09 EPS of $3.60-$4.00 versus the consensus of $3.51. Sees FY09 revenues of $3.5-$3.7 billion, versus the consensus of $3.45 billion. MORE

Big Lots (NYSE: BIG) 13% HIGHER; reports Q4 earnings of $1.00 per share, above the consensus of $0.93. Revenues came in at $1.37 billion, versus the consensus of $1.36 billion. Big Lots sees Q1 EPS of 0.34-$0.40, ex-items, versus the consensus of $0.35. Big Lots sees FY10 EPS of $1.75-$1.90, ex-items, versus the consensus of $1.74.

AK Steel Holding Corp. (NYSE: AKS) 13% HIGHER; steel names up on positive news from China

Netezza Corporation (AMEX: NZ) 12.1% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.09, in-line with estimates. Revenues were $50.6 million vs. $49.70 million consensus.

Liz Claiborne Inc. (NYSE: LIZ) 12% LOWER; reports Q4 non-GAAP loss of $0.04, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of ($0.05). MORE

United States Steel Corp. (NYSE: X) 10% HIGHER; steel names up on positive news from China

Freeport-McMoRan (NYSE: FCX) 10% HIGHER; commodity names up on positive news from China

General Electric Co. (NYSE: GE) 10% LOWER; Continues free-fall after Friday's dividend cut

VeriFone Holdings Inc. (NYSE: PAY) 6% HIGHER; reports Q1 non-GAAP EPS of $0.17, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.15. Revenues for the quarter were $214 million, versus the consensus of $220.85 million. Sees Q2 sales of $205-$215 million, versus the consensus of $224.45 million, with non-GAAP EPS of $0.14-$0.18. The Street is expecting EPS of $0.18. For FY09, sales are expected to be $830-$880 million, versus the consensus of $925.51 million, with adj-EPS of $0.60-$0.85, versus the Street estimate of $0.80.

Palm, Inc. (Nasdaq: PALM) 5% LOWER; said it expects to report revenues for the third quarter of fiscal year 2009 in the range of $85 million to $90 million, which is well below the consensus of $157.83 million. View the full report on the news here.  Despite the news, Piper upgraded the stock.

Energy Recovery (Nasdaq: ERII) 4.8% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.10, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.08. Revenues for the quarter were $22 million, versus the consensus of $21.38 million. Sees Q1 sales of $12-$13 million, versus the consensus of $12.01 million, with EPS of $0.02-$0.03, versus the Street estimate of $0.03. For FY09, sales are expected to be $60-$65 million, versus the Street estimate of $67.42 million, with EPS of $0.18-$0.22, versus the consensus of $0.23.

Jarden Corporation (NYSE: JAH) 4.6% HIGHER; provided a business overview and an update on its business segments at the Company's Analyst and Investor Day held today in New York at the New York Stock Exchange. Sees FY09 sales of about $5 billion, versus the consensus of $5 billion. Free cash flow for the year is expected to be in excess of $250 million.

First Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: FSLR) 4% HIGHER; Bank of America resumes coverage at Buy

US Bancorp (NYSE: USB) 2% LOWER; slashes dividend 88% 

Costco (Nasdaq: COST) 1% HIGHER; reports Q2 earnings of $0.55 per share, below the consensus of $0.59. Revenues came in at $16.84 billion, versus the consensus of $16.85 billion.  MORE
