PDL BioPharma (Nasdaq: PDLI) 13.6% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.26, versus the analyst estimate of $0.08. Revenues for the quarter were $68.7 million, versus the consensus of $59.76 million. PDL announced that it will pay two dividends to its stockholders in 2009. Each of the dividends will be $0.50 per share the first of which will be paid on April 1, 2009 to all stockholders who own shares of PDL on March 16, 2009. The second dividend will be paid on October 1, 2009.

Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated (Nasdaq: SYKE) 5.1% LOWER; reports Q4 GAAP EPS of $0.19, which may not compare to the analyst estimate of $0.32. Revenues for the quarter were $200.8 million, versus the consensus of $200.40 million. Sees Q1 EPS of $0.28-$0.31, with FY09 EPS of $1.26-$1.32.
