Deer Consumer Products, Inc. (NASDAQ: DEER) 23.4% LOWER; announced today the pricing of a public offering of 6,000,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $11.00 per share. Deer has granted the underwriters an over-allotment option to purchase 900,000 additional shares of common stock at the public offering price. The offering is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close on December 16, 2009.
