Dean Foods (NYSE: DF) 10% LOWER; reports Q3 earnings of $0.28 per share, below th econsensus of $0.31. Revenues came in at $3.19 billion, versus the consensus of $3.22 billion. Sees FY08 EPS of at least $1.20 versus the consensus of $1.26.

Sun Hydraulics (Nasdaq: SNHY) 9% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.40, 1 cent lower than the analyst estimate of $0.41. Revenue for the quarter was $44.8 million, versus the consensus of $46.93 million. Sees Q4 sales of about $34 million and EPS of $0.20-$0.22. The Street is currently expecting Q4 sales of $45.73 million and EPS of $0.39. Sees FY08 sales of about $180 million, versus the consensus of $193.19 million, and EPS of $1.60-$1.62, versus the Street estimate of $1.79.
Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (Nasdaq: MRVL) 8% HIGHER; today reported preliminary revenue would be below prior projections for Q309, ended November 1, 2008. Sees Q309 sales declining 6-7% from revs of $843 million in Q209. The revised revenue outlook is 3-4% above the $758 million reported for Q308. Prior outlook for Q309 was for revenue to be in a range of $860-$880 million, or up 2-3% from Q209.
Rackable Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: RACK) 7% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.05, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.07). Revenue for the quarter was $65.3 million, versus the consensus of $70.53 million.
MasterCard Incorporated (NYSE: MA) 7% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $2.47, ex-items, versus the analyst estimate of $2.25. Revenue for the quarter was $1.3 billion, versus the consensus of $1.27 billion.
Terra Industries Inc. (NYSE: TRA) 7% HIGHER; Citi upgrades
Tenet Healthcare (NYSE: THC) 7% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.06, 3 cents below the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter was $2.16 billion, versus the consensus of $2.21 billion.
Agrium Inc. (NYSE: AGU) 6% HIGHER; Citi upgrades
Coldwater Creek (Nasdaq: CWTR) 6% LOWER; today announced preliminary Q3 results and withdrew its previously issued Q4 sales and EPS guidance. For Q3, sees sales of about $225 million and a loss of $0.07-$0.09. Sales for the quarter are expected to be $264.93 million and a gain of $0.03 for earnings.
Rowan Companies, Inc. (NYSE: RDC) 6% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $1.00, 13 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.87. Revenue for the quarter was $527.1 million, versus the consensus of $539.71 million.
Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI) 5% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.67, ex-items, 3 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.70. Revenue for the quarter was $1.5 billion, versus the consensus of $1.60 billion. Sees FY08 adj-EPS of $2.75-$2.82, versus the consensus of $2.85.

Marvel Enterprises (NYSE: MVL) 4% LOWER reports Q3 earnings of $0.64 per share, above the consensus of $0.45. Revenues came in at $182.5 million, versus the consensus of $146.1 million. Marvel sees FY08 EPS of $2.45-$2.65, above the consensus of $1.93 and prior guidance of $1.55-$1.75. Sees FY08 revenues of $640-$670 million, versus the consensus of $528 million and prior guidance of $450-$480 million. Marvel sees FY09 EPS of $1.00-$1.35, below the consensus of $1.94. Sees FY09 revenues $415-$460 million, versus the consensus of $617.81 million.
Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC) 4% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $1.62, ex-items, 14 cents better than the analyst estimate of $1.48. Revenue for the quarter was $6.149 billion, compared to $2.995 billion in the same quarter last year.
