Inhibitex, Inc. (NASDAQ: INHX) 105% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.07), $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.09). Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.26 million versus the consensus estimate of $650,000.

Rexahn Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE: RNN) 40.6% LOWER; today announced results from its Phase IIb clinical trial of Serdaxin in major depressive disorder. The randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study compared two doses of Serdaxin, 0.5 mg and 5 mg, to placebo over an 8-week treatment period. Results from the study did not demonstrate Serdaxin’s efficacy compared to placebo measured by the Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS). All groups showed an approximate -14 point improvement in the protocol defined primary endpoint of MADRS. All groups had a substantial number of patients who demonstrated a meaningful clinical improvement from baseline. The study showed Serdaxin to be safe and well tolerated.

OXiGENE, Inc. (Nasdaq: OXGN) 30.7% LOWER; reported final results today from the FALCON trial, a stratified, randomized, controlled Phase 2 study of ZYBRESTAT (fosbretabulin tromethamine, or CA4P) in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

ExamWorks (Nasdaq: EXAM) 26.1% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.00, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.02). Revenue for the quarter came in at $119 million, versus the consensus estimate of $115.6 million. Sees FY11 sales $390-$395 million, vs. the consensus of $409.6 million.

Central European Distribution (NASDAQ: CEDC) 25.6% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.06, $0.14 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.20. Revenue for the quarter came in at $228.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $230.82 million. Central European Distribution sees FY2011 EPS of $0.25-$0.45, versus prior guidance of $0.80-$1.00 and the consensus of $0.60. Central European Distribution sees FY2011 revenue of $850-$950 million, versus prior guidance of $900-$1050 million.

MedAssets, Inc. (NASDAQ: MDAS) 21.3% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.26, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.17. Revenue for the quarter came in at $143.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $137.61 million.

Rosetta Stone (NYSE: RST) 20.7% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.06), $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.13). Revenue for the quarter came in at $64.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $67.13 million. Rosetta Stone sees Q4 2011 loss of ($0.43) - ($0.25), which may not compare to the consensus of $0.21. Rosetta Stone sees Q4 2011 revenue of $64-$70 million, versus the consensus of $84.46 million.

MasTec, Inc. (NYSE: MTZ) 19.6% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.36, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenue for the quarter came in at $865.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $776.28 million.

Keynote Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: KEYN) 19% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.27, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.29. Revenue for the quarter came in at $27.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $26.48 million. Keynote Systems, Inc. sees Q1 2012 EPS of $0.22-$0.28, versus the consensus of $0.27.

Clearwire (Nasdaq: CLWR) 18.9% HIGHER; shares on the move today as Sprint (NYSE: S) announced a private placement of notes which may be used to finance Clearwire.

Seattle Genetics Inc. (NASDAQ: SGEN) 18% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.35), $0.11 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.46). Revenue for the quarter came in at $20 million versus the consensus estimate of $13.57 million.

Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE: ALU) 16.7% LOWER; reported Q3 adjusted EPS of $0.12, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.07. Revenue for the quarter was €3.797 billion, compared to €4.074 billion in Q310. CEO Ben Verwaayen commented, "For the remaining part of 2011, given these market uncertainties, and selective spending from our customers, especially in Europe, we now expect weaker revenues there than initially planned in the fourth quarter of 2011. Therefore, we now are aiming for an adjusted operating margin of around 4% of 2011 sales taking benefit of the fixed costs savings already achieved in 2011, at an exit run-rate level of around € 300 million a year.”

Digi International, Inc. (NASDAQ: DGII) 15.3% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.11, $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.15. Revenue for the quarter came in at $51.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $54.57 million. Digi International, Inc. sees FY2012 EPS of $0.38-$0.64, versus the consensus of $0.57. Digi International, Inc. sees FY2012 revenue of $210-$235 million, versus the consensus of $229.50 million.

Echelon (Nasdaq: ELON) 14.9% LOWER; the stock was downgraded at Wedbush this morning.

Live Nation Entertainment (NYSE: LYV) 14.6% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.28, $0.10 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.38. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.79 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.91 billion.

AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMAG) 14% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.78), $0.22 better than the analyst estimate of ($1.00). Revenue for the quarter came in at $17.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $16.22 million. AMAG announced today that Dr. Pereira has resigned from his position as president, CEO and a director of the company, effective immediately.

Imperial Sugar Company (NASDAQ: IPSU) 13.9% LOWER; has suspended payment of its regular quarterly dividend of $0.02 per common share until further notice in light of the continued pressure on its gross margins and liquidity primarily caused by sustained high raw sugar prices and competitive refined sugar pricing. The company indicated that borrowings under its revolving credit agreement totaled $81.5 million at fiscal year end September 30, 2011, resulting in available undrawn borrowing capacity of $44.0 million subject to the terms of the credit agreement.

Alon USA Energy, Inc. (NYSE: ALJ) 13.2% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.70, $0.21 better than the analyst estimate of $0.49. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.06 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.93 billion.

A123 Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: AONE) 12.5% LOWER; revised revenue guidance range for the full year 2011 due to unanticipated developments that will impact fourth quarter revenue. A123 now projects that 2011 revenue will be in the range of $165 million to $180 million, which would represent 70 percent to 85 percent revenue growth from 2010. A123's previous 2011 revenue guidance range was $210 million to $225 million. The reduction in full-year revenue guidance will be reflected principally in the fourth quarter. The Street is currently looking for revs of $202.21 million.

Immersion Corp (NASDAQ: IMMR) 12.4% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.05), $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.02). Revenue for the quarter came in at $6.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $7.52 million.

Acorda Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: ACOR) 12.2% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.40, $0.33 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.73. Revenue for the quarter came in at $93.03 million versus the consensus estimate of $90.78 million. Acorda reiterates its 2011 net sales guidance.

Optimer Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: OPTR) 12.1% LOWER; reported Q3 loss of ($0.57), $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.52). Revenue for the quarter came in at $11.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $5.44 million.

MELA Sciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: MELA) 12% LOWER; is under heavy pressure early Friday after receiving FDA approval of MelaFind a few short days ago.

Cadence Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: CADX) 11.5% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.34), $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.36).

ReachLocal, Inc. (Nasdaq: RLOC) 11.1% HIGHER; has approved a $20 million share repurchase program.

Insulet Corporation (NASDAQ: PODD) 10.9% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.29), $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.24). Revenue for the quarter came in at $44.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $45 million. Insulet Corporation sees FY2011 revenue of $150-$154 million, versus the consensus of $154.81 million.

LinkedIn (NYSE: LNKD) 10.2% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.06, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.04). Revenue for the quarter came in at $139.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $127.34 million. Sees Q4 2011 revenue of $154-$158 million, versus the consensus of $147.8 million. Also announced a $500 million common shelf offering, including $100 million from the company and the remainder from selling shareholders.

Skullcandy (NASDAQ: SKUL) 10.1% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.17, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $60.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $50.62 million. Skullcandy sees FY2011 EPS of $0.93, versus the consensus of $0.90. Skullcandy sees FY2011 revenue of $231 million, versus the consensus of $217.33 million.

Appliance Recycling Centers of America (NASDAQ: ARCI) 10% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.30, versus $0.16 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $35.9 million, versus $27.9 million reported last year.
