Powerwave Technologies (Nasdaq: PWAV) 39% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.08, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter was $238 million, versus the consensus of $232.46 million.

Bare Escentuals, Inc. (Nasdaq: BARE) 26% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.25, 1 cent worse than the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenue for the quarter was $130.2 million, versus the consensus of $142.76 million. Based on the Company's third quarter results and the impact of the challenging consumer environment on current business trends, the Company now expects sales and earnings growth for fiscal 2008 of approximately 10% compared to the prior year. Included in the fiscal 2008 guidance is approximately $0.01 to $0.02 per diluted share of one-time items associated with the Company’s strategic restructuring in the fourth quarter.

CommScope (NYSE: CTV) 19% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $1.17, versus the analyst estimate of $1.04. Revenue for the quarter was $1.06 billion, versus the consensus of $1.10 billion.

Barclays (NYSE: BCS) 15% LOWER; announced a proposal to raise up to $9.72 billion of additional capital from existing and new strategic and institutional investors. Part of the capital will be raised from Qatar Holding and entities representing the beneficial interests of HH Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a member of the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi.

Conexant Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CNXT) 14% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.26, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.25. Revenue for the quarter was $112.6 million, versus the consensus of $122.27 million.

Electronic Arts (Nasdaq: ERTS) 13% LOWER; reports Q2 loss of $0.06, in-line with the analyst estimate of ($0.06). Revenue for the quarter was $894 billion, versus the consensus of $1.08 billion. Sees FY09 EPS of $1.00-$1.40, versus the consensus of $1.42 and revs of $4.9-$5.15 billion, versus the consensus of $5.04 billion.

DivX (Nasdaq: DIVX) 7% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.16, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenue for the quarter was $24.4 million, versus the consensus of $24.33 million. Dan Halvorson, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, said, "The fundamental earnings drivers of our business remain strong. With that said, consumer spending continues to face increasing headwinds. As a result, we are narrowing our revenue guidance, but increasing our fiscal 2008 non-GAAP earnings per share estimates to $0.58 to $0.60, even as we project lower interest income on our investments."
