Clarient Inc. (NASDAQ: CLRT) 32.9% HIGHER; GE Healthcare, a unit of General Electric Company (NYSE: GE) announced Friday that it has agreed to acquire cancer diagnostic company, Clarient for $580 million. According to the terms of the deal, GE will pay $5.00 per common share of Clarient and $20.00 per preferred share.

Encorium Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENCO) 30% LOWER; today announced that, on October 20, 2010, it received notification that a NASDAQ Listing Qualifications Panel has determined to delist the Company's securities from The NASDAQ Stock Market, effective with the open of business on October 22, 2010, as a result of the Company's non-compliance with the minimum $2.5 million stockholders' equity requirement.

Icagen (Nasdaq: ICGN) 27.9% HIGHER; shares are trading on massive volume today despite any news. The stock appears to be holding above the $1.25 level this morning.

Conolog (Nasdaq: CNLG) 24.6% HIGHER; continuing higher today after pushing through the $0.60 level yesterday (up 13%). Volume very heavy.

SulphCo. (AMEX: SUF) 22.1% HIGHER; shares seem to be breaking above a resistance level at $0.50 today.

athenahealth (Nasdaq: ATHN) 22.1% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.18, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenue for the quarter was $63.1 million, which compares to the estimate of $61.93 million.

China Shen Zhou Mining (AMEX: SHZ) 21.1% LOWER; correcting once again today following a 150% surge over the span of Tuesday and Wednesday.

Conn’s, Inc. (NASDAQ: CONN) 20% LOWER; today announced the record date for a possible rights offering, plans for refinancing its existing debt facilities and an update regarding current business trends. Says same-store sales are down 16% for the first two months of the Q3. Sees a loss for Q3 and also says that it could report a loss during Q4. Click here to see the full report.

Scientific Learning Corp. (Nasdaq: SCIL) 16.7% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.04, versus the analyst estimate of $0.30. Revenue for the quarter was $10.2 million, which compares to the estimate of $20.02 million.

Fortinet (NYSE: FTNT) 16.1% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.17, ex-items, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenue for the quarter was $85 million, which compares to the estimate of $76.94 million.

Brookdale (NYSE: BKD) 16.1% HIGHER; trading higher following a WSJ story which rumors that Ventas (NYSE: VTR) could pay as much as $1.35 billion for the real estate assets of Atria Senior Living.

PC Connection (Nasdaq: PCCC) 15.3% HIGHER; expects to report Q3 sales up 32% with EPS in the range of 30-32c. The Street is currently looking for quarterly EPS of 15c.

Riverbed Technology (Nasdaq: RVBD) 15.2% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.34, ex-items, versus the analyst estimate of $0.27. Revenue for the quarter was $147.8 million, which compares to the estimate of $135.28 million. Also announced a 2-for-1 stock split.

BJ Restaurants (Nasdaq: BJRI) 14.2% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.22, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.16. Revenue for the quarter was $128.8 million, which compares to the estimate of $124.11 million.

Healthways (NYSE: HWAY) 14.2% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.30, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.28. Revenue for the quarter was $170.5 million, which compares to the estimate of $173.25 million. Narrows FY10 revenue outlook to $695 - $708 million, and an EPS of $1.12 - $1.19. Consensus sees revs of $705.38 million and an EPS of $1.13. Q4 EPS is expected to be $0.21 - $0.28, compared to the consensus of $0.29.

Compuware (NYSE: CPWR) 14.1% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.12, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.09. Revenue for the quarter was $225.9 million, which compares to the estimate of $221.58 million.

Servidyne Inc. (NASDAQ: SERV) 13.5% HIGHER; announced Friday that it is starting on an approximately $5.8 million design project for the Georgia Department of Corrections. The project is aimed at reducing the cost of Georgia taxpayers by creating an energy-efficient design for the building.

Align Tech (NYSE: ALGN) 13% LOWER; reports Q3 non-GAAP EPS of $0.25, 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.18. (GAAP EPS was $0.22) Revenue for the quarter was $95.9 million, which compares to the estimate of $94.42 million. For the fourth quarter of fiscal 2010 (Q4 10), Align Technology expects net revenues to be in a range of $90.5 million to $93.0 million. (Consensus is $96.16M) GAAP earnings per diluted share for Q4 10 is expected to be in a range of $0.15 to $0.17. (Consensus is $0.19)

Acacia Research (NYSE: ACTG) 11.9% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.70 vs. the analyst estimate of $0.09. Revenue for the quarter was $63.95 million, which compares to the estimate of $21 million.

Ixia (NYSE: XXIA) 11.7% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.14, ex-items, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenue for the quarter was $70.9 million, which compares to the estimate of $68.52 million. The stock was also upgraded to Buy at Wunderlich.

Cytec (NYSE: CYT) 11.4% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.80, 4 cents below the analyst estimate of $0.84. Revenue for the quarter was $837 million, which compares to the estimate of $823.63 million. Reaffirms FY10.

Polycom (NYSE: PLCM) 11.1% HIGHER; reports Q3 adj-EPS of $0.38, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenue for the quarter was $308 million, which compares to the estimate of $301.90 million. The stock was also upgraded to Outperform at Wells Fargo.

Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG) 9.7% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $1.52, 22 cents better than the analyst estimate of $1.30 Revenue for the quarter was $476.9 million, which compares to the estimate of $461.18 million.

Fidelity Southern Corp. (Nasdaq: LION) 9.7% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.10, versus ($0.04) reported for the same period a year ago. Also withdrew its previously announce $57.5 million common shelf registration. Finally, announced that, due to their addition of $9 million to capital and a $14 million increase in Tier 1 capital, they have decided not to move forward with the $57.5 million stock offering that was previously announced. Fidelity Southern reiterated that it plans to build out its footprint in Atlanta and the Southeast.

Cepheid (NYSE: CPHD) 8.7% HIGHER; reports a Q3 loss of $0.02, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of -$0.06 Revenue for the quarter was $56.1 million, which compares to the estimate of $52.87 million. For the fiscal year ending December 31, 2010, the company expects: Total revenue to be in the range of $207 to $210 million. (Consensus is $205.06M) Net loss in the range of $(0.17) to $(0.14) per share; Non-GAAP net income in the range of $0.13 to $0.16 per share. (Consensus is loss of $0.20)
