Morning Movers 09/06: (TIN) (GRO) Higher; (DEER) (CS) (RBS) (UBS) (STM) Lower

Temple-Inland Inc. (NYSE: TIN) 24.7% HIGHER; International Paper (NYSE: IP) and Temple-Inland today announced that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement under which International Paper will acquire all of the outstanding common stock of Temple-Inland for $32.00 per share in cash, plus the assumption of $600 million in Temple-Inland's year end debt. The total transaction value is approximately $4.3 billion.

Agria Corporation (NYSE: GRO) 22% HIGHER; today launched Zhong Dan 909, a new variety of field corn seed developed by the China National Academy of Agricultural Sciences and ranked the number one field corn variety for the past two years in national certification tests hosted by Ministry of Agriculture.

Deer Consumer Products (Nasdaq: DEER) 15.3% LOWER; after opening only modestly lower, shares have sunk over the last few minutes of trade. The stock seems to have bounced off the $4 level.

Credit Suisse (NYSE: CS) 13.2% LOWER; Euro banks are getting hammered this morning as the debt-contagion trade is back.

RBS (NYSE: RBS) 12.8% LOWER; trading lower with the entire Eurobank sector.

UBS (NYSE: UBS) 11.2% LOWER; see above Eurobanks.

STMicroelectronics (NYSE: STM) 10.8% LOWER; likely trading lower following reduced guidance at Fairchild Semi.

LRAD (Nasdaq: LRAD) 10.7% LOWER; seems to be pushing below a support level around $2 this morning.

ING Groep (NYSE: ING) 10.5% LOWER; trading lower with entire Eurobank sector.

Deutsche Bank (NYSE: DB) 9.6% LOWER; see Eurobank sector.

Camelot Information Systems (NYSE: CIS) 9.4% LOWER; continuing lower following a 19 percent decline in the stock to end last week's session. The stock surged nearly 40 percent over Monday and Tuesday's session following news of its first customer for its Enterprise Payment service.

Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE: ALU) 9.2% LOWER; likely falling amid similar reasons as STMicro.

National Bank of Greece (NYSE: NBG) 8.7% LOWER; see Eurobank sector.

Barclays (NYSE: BCS) 8.6% LOWER; see entire Eurobank group.
