Great Basin Gold Ltd. (AMEX: GBG) 44.8% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.05), versus $0.00 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $32.4 million, versus $56.74 million reported last year. Downgraded at Stifel Nicolaus as well.

Citi Trends, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTRN) 24.4% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.54), $0.11 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.43). Revenue for the quarter came in at $132.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $133.78 million.

Forbes Energy Service (NASDAQ: FES) 19.7% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.10, $0.18 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.28. Revenue for the quarter came in at $119.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $135 million.

Netlist, Inc. (NASDAQ: NLST) 15.5% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.14), $0.08 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.06). Revenue for the quarter came in at $10.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $14.05 million.

Physicians Formula Holdings, Inc. (NASdAQ: FACE) 14.7% HIGHER; Physicians Formula and Swander Pace Capital entered into a definitive merger agreement under which affiliates of Swander Pace will acquire Physicians Formula for $4.25 per share in cash.

Sarepta Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: SRPT) 14.7% HIGHER; CEO Chris Garabedian spoke at Wedbush PacGrow Life Science Conference Tuesday.

Alpha and Omega Semi (NASDAQ: AOSL) 14.2% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.32, versus $0.16 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $94.3 million, versus $83.9 million reported last year.

Valuevision Media, Inc. (NASDAQ: VVTV) 14.0% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.08), $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.14). Revenue for the quarter came in at $135.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $129.24 million.

Wave Systems Corp. (NASDAQ: WAVX) 13.8% HIGHER; today launched Wave Cloud, a cloud-based service for enterprise-wide management of self-encrypting drives (SEDs).

Canadian Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSIQ) 12.5% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.59), $0.29 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.30). Revenue for the quarter came in at $348.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $393.9 million. Solar module shipments were 412 MW, compared to 343 MW in the first quarter of 2012. For the third quarter of 2012, shipments are expected to be in the range of approximately 390MW to 420MW, with gross margin expected to be between 2.0% and 5.0%.

Cellcom Israel (NYSE: CEL) 11.5% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of NIS1.22, NIS0.22 better than the analyst estimate of NIS1.00. Revenue for the quarter came in at NIS1.5 billion versus the consensus estimate of NIS1.56 billion.
