Morning Movers 07/12: (PPHM) (AFFY) Higher; (SVU) (DVR) (CALX) (DRWI) (INFY) Lower

SUPERVALU Inc. (NYSE: SVU) 43.3% LOWER; to review alternatives, suspends dividend. Reported Q1 EPS of $0.19, $0.19 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.38. Revenue for the quarter came in at $10.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $10.81 billion.

Cal Dive International, Inc. (NYSE: DVR) 32% LOWER; announced today that it expects second quarter 2012 EBITDA to be below the current consensus street estimate of $12.9 million. Based on currently available information, the Company estimates that its EBITDA for the quarter will be approximately $10.5 million

Calix, Inc. (NYSE: CALX) 24.8% LOWER; preliminary estimates for the second quarter are for revenue to be approximately $79 million, flat with the first quarter of 2012, and non-GAAP earnings per share to be 4 cents per share, up from 1 cent per share in the first quarter of 2012. The Street see revs of $95.1 million and EPS of $0.10.

Peregrine Pharma (Nasdaq: PPHM) 20.5% HIGHER; shares continuing higher after breaking above the 50-day simple moving average only 20 minutes ahead of the closing bell yesterday. This morning the stock charged through the $0.80 level after some resistance, and is now over $0.90. Volume spiked very sharply as the price moved over $0.80.

Dragonwave, Inc. (NASDAQ: DRWI) 14.1% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of ($0.35), $0.07 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.28). Revenue for the quarter came in at $13 million versus the consensus estimate of $12.75 million. Sees Q2 2012 revenue of $35-$45 million, versus the consensus of $51.1 million.

Affymax, Inc. (Nasdaq: AFFY) 11.9% HIGHER; Takeda Pharmaceuticals U.S.A. and Affymax today announced that Takeda Pharmaceuticals America, Inc. has entered into a supply agreement for sourcing and supply of OMONTYS® (peginesatide) Injection to Fresenius Medical Care North America and certain of its affiliates.

Infosys Technologies Ltd (NASDAQ: INFY) 10.9% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.73, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.73. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.75 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.78 billion. Sees FY2013 EPS of $3.03, versus the consensus of $3.09. Sees FY2013 revenue of $7.343 billion, versus the consensus of $7.47 billion.

ImmunoGen, Inc. (Nasdaq: IMGN) 10.3% LOWER; announced today that it has priced an underwritten public offering of 6.25 million shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $16 per share. Gross proceeds are expected to be approximately $100 million, before deducting the underwriting discounts and commissions and offering expenses payable by ImmunoGen. The offering is expected to close on or about July 17, 2012, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions. ImmunoGen has granted the underwriters a thirty (30) day option to purchase up to 937,500 additional shares.

Safeway (NYSE: SWY) 9.8% LOWER; likely trading lower on the heels of the SUPERVALU news.

TIM Participacoes SA (NYSE: TSU) 9.3% LOWER; international providers of wireless service are getting clobbered this morning. Elsewhere: Telefonica SA (NYSE: TEF) down 4 percent, Telecom Italia (NYSE: TI) down 7 percent, America Movil (NYSE: AMX) down 1.5 percent.
