FX Alliance (NYSE: FX) 39.9% HIGHER; Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of FX for $22 per share in cash.
Amerigroup Corporation (NYSE: AGP) 37.9% HIGHER; WellPoint, Inc. (NYSE: WLP) and Amerigroup announced today that they have entered into a definitive agreement through which WellPoint will acquire Amerigroup for $92/share in cash.
Central European Distribution Corporation (Nasdaq: CEDC) 36.6% HIGHER; announced today that it has signed amended definitive agreements on its previously announced strategic alliance with Russian Standard Corporation. Click here to see the full report.
Bridgepoint Education's (NYSE: BPI) 22.8% LOWER; Ashford University received notice on July 5, 2012 that the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges acted to deny Ashford University's application for initial accreditation.
Centene (NYSE: CNC) 21.1% HIGHER; trading higher amid Wellpoint's bid for Amerigroup.
Rexahn Pharma (AMEX: RNN) 19.3% HIGHER; shares are continuing to breakout sharply following the submission of its IND for RX-5902 on July 2nd. The stock is up more than 143 percent since that day. Volume is extremely heavy this morning.

Questcor Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: QCOR) 15.1% HIGHER; sees 400-410 paid Acthar prescriptions for lead indication Multiple Sclerosis. This is up from 365 in May and 339 in April. For Nephrotic Syndrome, the company sees paid Acthar prescriptions of 115-120 in June, up from 103 in May and 94 in April. For Infantile Spasms they see 30-35 paid Acthar prescriptions in June and for Dermatomyositis/Polymyositis they see 3. During June 2012, Questcor shipped a total of 1,800 vials of Acthar to CuraScript SD, for a total of 4,710 vials for the quarter ended June 30, 2012.

Luminex Corporation (Nasdaq: LMNX) 14.2% LOWER; today announced a definitive agreement to acquire privately-held, GenturaDx, for a cash payment of $50 million, subject to working capital reconciliation and potential additional contingent consideration for achievement of future milestones and/or product revenue performance. Luminex anticipates the acquisition will add approximately $6 million in 2012 operating expenses, excluding acquisition related expenses.
EnteroMedics (Nasdaq: ETRM) 13.9% HIGHER; rallied above resistance at $3.40 earlier; shares charged above the $3.70 level following this technical move.
Manitex International, Inc. (Nasdaq: MNTX) 12.5% HIGHER; announced a consolidated order backlog of $149.6 million as of June 30, 2012. This is an increase of 78.7 percent from December 31, 2011, a 195 percent year over year increase, represents the ninth successive quarterly increase, and is another all-time high for the company.
NeoStem (NYSE: NBS) 10.7% HIGHER; An analyst at WBB Securities upgraded shares of NeoStem from Buy to Strong Buy.
Synacor (Nasdaq: SYNC) 10.6% HIGHER; continuing to hold above important technical levels at the 50- and 200-day simple moving averages. Shares are over $17 today.
Antares Pharma (Nasdaq: ATRS) 10.3% HIGHER; technicians pushed the stock over the $4.50 level at the open. Shares tested the $5 level, however could not hold.
A123 (Nasdaq: AONE) 9.3% LOWER; continuing lower following news of a 7.7 million share direct offering at $1.30 per share on Friday and the resulting 10.8 percent plunge in the stock. Shares are below $1.10 today.
ClickSoftware (Nasdaq: CKSW) 9% LOWER; sees Q2 EPS of $0.03 and revenues of about $22.5 million. This compares to the consensus of $0.09 and $24.85 million, respectively.
