Youku.com, Inc. (NYSE: YOKU) 8.9% HIGHER; officially launched its Youku Premium paid content platform Tuesday after signing a digital distribution agreement with CAV Warner Home Entertainment Co., Ltd., Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group's joint venture in China. Under the terms of the three-year agreement, Youku will add a total of 400 to 450 Warner Bros. New Releases and Catalog titles to its Youku Premium content library.
Icagen (Nasdaq: ICGN) 8.7% HIGHER; After rallying 164% yesterday on news of a potential takeover by Pfizer (NYSE: PFE), Icagen is up another 9% this morning as traders position for a potential merger announcement. Last Friday, Icagen confirmed that Pfizer is evaluating the possibility of entering into a strategic transaction.
LinkedIn (Nasdaq: LNKD) 8.3% HIGHER; JPMorgan, BofA, UBS and Morgan Stanley all initiated coverage on the stock with buy-equivalent ratings this morning.
Abitibibowater Inc. (NYSE: ABH) 7.1% LOWER; TD Newcrest downgraded the stock from Buy to Hold. PT lowered from $31 to $25.
OmniVision Technologies (NASDAQ: OVTI) 6.5% HIGHER; Canaccord Genuity upgraded the stock to Buy. PT increased from $33 to $38.
Nike (NYSE: NKE) 6.3% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $1.24, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $1.16. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.77 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.54 billion. Inventories up 33 percent to $2.7 billion at the end of the quarter. Gross margin was 44.3%. Nike brand futures orders excluding currency revisions rose 12%, better than the 9.4% analysts had been expecting.
