Morning Movers 06/05: (BPAX) (AMRS) (PSUN) Higher; (EDS) (SHFL) (CBLI) (TAST) Lower

Exceed Co. (NYSE: EDS) 27.5% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of 62 cents on sales of $142.1 million. The company also announced it revised its Q1, Q2, Q3 of 2011 results amid an accounting change. The company sees FY12 sales down about 20 percent year over year.

Shuffle Master, Inc. (NASDAQ: SHFL) 14.8% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.20, ex-items, inline with the analyst estimate of $0.20. Revenue for the quarter came in at $66.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $65.12 million.

Biosante Pharma (Nasdaq: BPAX) 13.6% HIGHER; continuing a late-day rally yesterday which added about 23 percent to the company's value over just the last two hours of trade. Shares really began ramping after breaking above the 50- and 200-day simple moving averages.

Cleveland BioLabs (Nasdaq: CBLI) 13.1% LOWER; investors taking profits following a 63 percent surge yesterday. The company said its efficacy study for CBLB502 showed strong survival results.

Amyris (Nasdaq: AMRS) 12% HIGHER; the stock has been extremely volatile lately and is continuing today. After falling more than 6 percent on Friday and another 8 percent yesterday, traders are buying the dip this morning.

Pacific Sunwear (Nasdaq: PSUN) 11.6% HIGHER; shares edged higher yesterday following news of a large insider buy yesterday. An after-hours Seeking Alpha article entitled "Significant Insider Buying Might Signal A Turnaround" could be adding to upside today.

Carrols Restaurant (Nasdaq: TAST) 11.5% LOWER; not hearing any company-specific news which would be moving the stock. Shares are flirting with the $5 level after breaking below several technicals at this morning's open.

Limelight Networks (Nasdaq: LLNW) 10.7% LOWER; Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) blindsided commercial content delivery network (CDNs) today after announcing that it has opened its own free content delivery network. Stocks in the group are getting slaughtered. The moves is most negative for Limelight give its sizable Netflix exposure, according to analysts at Jefferies. Netflix accounted for 11% of Limelight Networks revenue in CY11. Click here to see the Jefferies note.

Achillion Pharma (Nasdaq: ACHN) 10.3% LOWER; after failing to retake the $7 level over the last two trading sessions, the stock pushed below the $6.50 level just after the open. Several traders are attributing the weakness to a late-day filing yesterday which showed shareholder Clarus Ventures exercised a number of options, only to sell about 1.5 million shares over $7.

Central European Distribution Corporation (Nasdaq: CEDC) 10.1% LOWER; announced today that it expects to restate its financial results for all financial reporting periods from and after January 1, 2010. Click here to see the full report.
