Vital Images, Inc. (Nasdaq: VTAL) 31.5% HIGHER; announced an agreement to be acquired by Toshiba Medical Systems for $18.75 per share, or approximately $273 million in the aggregate.

LoopNet, Inc. (NASDAQ: LOOP) 27.7% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.10, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter came in at $20.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $20.38 million. SunTrust downgraded the stock earlier.

Evergreen Solar (Nasdaq: ESLR) 26% LOWER; sees Q1 shipments of 18MW at average selling price of $1.86. As of April 2, the company had cash and cash equivalents of $38.5 million.

Axcelis Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: ACLS) 23.7% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.02, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $93.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $94.35 million. The stock was also downgraded at Craig-Hallum.

Pacer International (Nasdaq: PACR) 12.6% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.06, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.02. Revenue for the quarter came in at $358.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $374.63 million.

Ferro Corp.0 (NYSE: FOE) 12.4% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.29, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.28. Revenue for the quarter came in at $573 million versus the consensus estimate of $538.34 million. Raises its FY11 sales guidance from $2.23-$2.30 billion to $2.3-$2.35 billion, which compares to the Street estimate of $2.27 billion.

Longtop Financial Technologies Limited (NYSE: LFT) 11.7% HIGHER; reports that it has increased its stock buyback by $50 million for a total of $100 million. In addition, the Company announced that it will host a conference call in response to allegations and rumors in the recent Citron report and related market rumors.

CARBO Ceramics Inc. (NYSE: CRR) 11.6% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $1.30, $0.28 better than the analyst estimate of $1.02. Revenue for the quarter came in at $150.83 million versus the consensus estimate of $129.45 million.

Horizon Lines, Inc. (NYSE: HRZ) 11.6% HIGHER; the Justice Department said it wants the company's price-fixing fine of $45 million cut to $15 million to avoid bankruptcy.

Satcon Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: SATC) 10.7% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of ($0.02), $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.01). Revenue for the quarter came in at $62 million versus the consensus estimate of $63.2 million. The stock was downgraded at Capstone earlier.
