Morning Movers 03/14: (LZ) (KSP) (CIGX) (AHII) Higher; (URZ) (DNN) (URRE) (UEC) Lower

The Lubrizol Corporation (NYSE: LZ) 27.2% HIGHER; Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE: BRK.A) (NYSE: BRK.B) announced an agreement to acquire Lubrizoil for $135 per share in an all-cash transaction, or approximately $9.7 billion, including approximately $0.7 billion in net debt.

K-Sea Transportation Partners L.P. (NYSE: KSP) 27.1% HIGHER; Kirby Corporation (NYSE: KEX) and K-Sea have entered into an agreement whereby K-Sea will merge with a subsidiary of Kirby in a deal valued at $600 million.

Uranerz Energy (AMEX: URZ) 22.7% LOWER; uranium stocks are having a very tough day amid the nuclear scare in Japan following the massive earthquake last week.

Denison Mines (AMEX: DNN) 22.5% LOWER; see Uranerz above.

Uranium Resources (Nasdaq: URRE) 20.6% LOWER; another uranium stock.

Uranium Energy (NYSE: UEC) 20.6% LOWER; another uranium stock.

Star Scientific (Nasdaq: CIGX) 20.5% HIGHER; continuing higher following a nearly 25% surge on Friday as the company announced that its patent claims were confirmed by a reexamination from the US PTO.

Shaw Group (Nasdaq: SHAW) 18.3% LOWER; being slammed on worries that nuclear project could be delayed or canceled in the aftermath of the ongoing Japan nuclear crisis. Shaw provides a wide range of technical services to support the domestic and international nuclear power industry.

Cameco (NYSE: CCJ) 17.4% LOWER; a producer of uranium. The stock was downgraded at TD Newcrest this morning.

USEC (NYSE: USU) 16.5% LOWER; uranium stock taking a beating.

USA Technologies (Nasdaq: USAT) 12.6% LOWER; priced 5.2 million shares at $2.064 per share, raising about $10.7 million.

Neutral Tandem, Inc. (NASDAQ: TNDM) 12.2% LOWER; reported Q4 GAAP EPS of $0.18, which may not compare to the analyst estimate of $0.29. Revenue for the quarter came in at $63.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $64.19 million. Sees FY11 revenue of $256 - $268 million, versus the consensus of $262.85 million.

Babcock & Willcox (NYSE: BWC) 10.5% LOWER; being played on the back of the Japan nuclear scare.

Animal Health International, Inc. (Nasdaq: AHII) 10.4% HIGHER; Lextron, Inc. is to acquire the company in a $251 million deal. The deal is $111 million cash, or $4.25 per AHII share, and the repayment of AHII's outstanding indebtedness. Closing is expected by the end of Q211.

Perma-Fix Environmental Services (Nasdaq: PESI) 10.3% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.03, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.02. Revenue for the quarter came in at $25.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $27.44 million.

Trina Solar (NYSE: TSL) 9.9% HIGHER; solar and wind stocks are in focus this morning as the nuclear meltdown scare in Japan is giving legs to other alt-energy plays.

National Bank of Greece (NYSE: NBG) 9.4% HIGHER; Greek banks are rallying today as Eurozone leaders have agreed to lower interest rates and extend repayment periods on the country's emergency loans.

Cleveland Biolabs (Nasdaq: CBLI) 7.8% HIGHER; traders are using the stock as a play on the danger related to damage done to Japan's nuclear power plants following its biggest-ever recorded earthquake and tsunami. Cleveland Biolabs makes drugs which prevent the risk of radiation.
