Threshold Pharmaceuticals, Inc (Nasdaq: THLD) 93% HIGHER; today announced that a global agreement was signed with Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, to co-develop and commercialize TH-302, Threshold's small molecule hypoxia-targeted drug. TH-302 is currently being investigated in a global Phase 3 clinical trial in patients with soft tissue sarcoma, a randomized Phase 2 trial in patients with advanced pancreatic cancer from which top-line results are expected in February, as well as additional clinical studies in other solid tumors and hematological malignancies.

Zoltek Companies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZOLT) 42.1% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.28, which may not compare to the analyst estimate of $0.04. Revenue for the quarter came in at $47.05 million versus the consensus estimate of $43.5 million.

Harris Interactive, Inc. (NASDAQ: HPOL) 34.4% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.03, versus $0.01 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $39.1 million, versus $44.9 million reported last year.

PC Connection, Inc. (NASDAQ: PCCC) 23% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.28, $0.08 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenue for the quarter came in at $553.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $590.29 million.

Motricity (Nasdaq: MOTR) 19.7% HIGHER; shares are over a $1 today after surging 20 percent yesterday to close at $0.96. Shares broke out yesterday after breaching the 200-day SMA.

Constant Contract, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTCT) 16.5% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.27, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.24. Revenue for the quarter came in at $57.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $56.96 million. Sees Q1 2012 EPS of $0.09-$0.10, versus the consensus of $0.12. Sees Q1 2012 revenue of $59.1-$59.4 million, versus the consensus of $59.32 million. Sees FY2012 EPS of $0.86-$0.90, versus the consensus of $0.92. Sees FY2012 revenue of $250 million, versus the consensus of $251.04 million.

STR Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: STRI) 15.9% LOWER; has announced that revenue is projected to approximate $36.5 million for the fourth quarter of 2011 and diluted non-GAAP EPS is projected to be in the range of ($0.04) to ($0.02). Projected revenue is below the Company’s guidance of $44 to $48 million. Projected diluted non-GAAP earnings per share is below the previously-announced guidance range of $0.09 to $0.12. The Street sees Q4 revs of $43.95 million and EPS of $0.10. Prior Q4 outlook was EPS $0.09 - $0.12 and revs of $44 - $48 million.

Genworth Financial Inc. (NYSE: GNW) 14.6% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.17, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.58 billion.

Smart Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: SMT) 13.5% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.09, $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenue for the quarter came in at $185.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $179.23 million.

Infinera Corporation (NASDAQ: INFN) 13.3% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.06), $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.12). Revenue for the quarter came in at $112 million versus the consensus estimate of $97.41 million. The stock was upgraded by JPMorgan this morning.

Modine Manufacturing Co. (NYSE: MOD) 12.4% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.17, $0.11 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.28. Revenue for the quarter came in at $373.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $414.28 million. Sees FY2012 EPS of $0.70-$0.75, versus the consensus of $0.91. The company had previously guided FY12 EPS to $0.95-$1.05.

Idenix (Nasdaq: IDIX) 12.3% LOWER; despite news of the removal of a partial clinical hold on HCV nucleotide inhibitor, IDX184, shares are moving lower amid strong '7977 data from Gilead (Nasdaq: GILD).

Sony (NYSE: SNE) 12.2% HIGHER; following a 6 percent decline yesterday amid results, traders are buying the dip today. We are hearing no news which would justify today's sharp move higher.

American Superconductor (Nasdaq: AMSC) 12% HIGHER; breaking above the 200-day SMA this morning. Shares bounced off the $5.25 level just after the open.

Achillion (Nasdaq: ACHN) 11.3% LOWER; trading lower amid positive '7977 data from Gilead.

Power-one Inc New (NASDAQ: PWER) 10.6% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.21, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $267 million versus the consensus estimate of $238.61 million. Sees Q1 2012 revenue of $190-$210 million, versus the consensus of $226.06 million.

Intermec (NYSE: IN) 10.6% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.13, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.18. Revenue for the quarter came in at $236.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $241.92 million. Sees Q1 2012 EPS of $0.00-$0.05, versus the consensus of $0.08. Sees Q1 2012 revenue of $200-$210 million, versus the consensus of $210.73 million. Sees FY2012 EPS of $0.55-$0.60, versus the consensus of $0.58. Sees FY2012 revenue growth of 8-10%, versus the consensus of 9.3%.

Zygo Corporation (NASDAQ: ZIGO) 10.2% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.33, versus $0.21 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $40 million, versus $36.1 million reported last year.

Edwards Lifesciences Corp. (NYSE: EW) 10.2% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.62, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.59. Revenue for the quarter came in at $430.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $446.94 million. The stock was downgraded at Wells Fargo.

MannKind Corporation (Nasdaq: MNKD) 10.1% LOWER; today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 31,250,000 units, with each unit consisting of one share of its common stock and a warrant to purchase 0.6 of a share of its common stock. The shares of common stock and the warrants are being offered at a combined price to the public of $2.40 per unit. The gross proceeds to MannKind from this offering are expected to be $75.0 million

Silicon Image, Inc. (NASDAQ: SIMG) 10% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.06, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $58.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $55.48 million.
