Net 1 UEPS Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: UEPS) 28% HIGHER; today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Cash Paymaster Services (Pty) Ltd has received a Letter of Award from the South African Social Security Agency for the provision of payment services for social grants in all of South Africa's nine provinces for a period of five years. The tender award is subject to the usual execution of a service level agreement by January 31, 2012.

Majesco Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: COOL) 26.9% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.07), $0.10 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $25.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $26.05 million. Sees FY2012 EPS of $0.25-$0.35, versus the consensus of $0.46. Sees FY2012 revenue of $125-$140 million, versus the consensus of $141.45 million.

Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (AMEX: MCZ) 26.3% HIGHER; announced today that it has entered into a PlayStation® Accessory Licensing Agreement with SCEJ (Sony Computer Entertainment Japan), a division of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. The agreement permits Mad Catz to manufacture and distribute products designed for use with the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and the PlayStation®Vita portable entertainment system throughout Japan.

Dex One (Nasdaq: DEXO) 14.6% LOWER; shares have not stopped going higher since reporting results in early November. The stock is up more than 250 percent since then. Traders are taking profits today, pushing shares below the $2 level.

Eastman Kodak (NYSE: EK) 14.5% HIGHER; is moving higher on rumors David Einhorn is taking a stake.

Smith Micro (Nasdaq: SMSI) 13.3% HIGHER; seems to be continuing higher this morning following a test of 200-day late during yesterday's session.

Fairchild Semi (NYSE: FCS) 12.9% HIGHER; trading higher on Linear Tech (Nasdaq: LLTC) earnings.

PHH Corp. (NYSE: PHH) 12.3% HIGHER; Kyle Bass' hedge fund Hayman Capital disclosed a 7.9%, or 4,448,751 share, stake in the company. The firm did not hold shares at the end of the latest quarter ending September 30, 2011.

Columbia Labs (Nasdaq: CBRX) 10.5% HIGHER; bouncing today following a 54 percent plunge yesterday amid news the FDA announced its preterm birth gel was not effective.

Amphenol, Inc. (NYSE: APH) 9.7% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.73, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.70. Revenue for the quarter came in at $949 million versus the consensus estimate of $932.27 million. Sees Q1 2012 EPS of $0.73-$0.76, versus the consensus of $0.71. Sees Q1 2012 revenue of $960-$975 million, versus the consensus of $938.1 million. Sees FY2012 EPS of $3.23-$3.34, versus the consensus of $3.18. Sees FY2012 revenue of $4.05-$4.15 billion, versus the consensus of $4.04 billion.
