WebMD Health Corp. (Nasdaq: WBMD) 28.9% LOWER; CEO Wayne T. Gattinella resigned and the company terminated discussions regarding a potential corporate transaction. The company also reaffirmed Q4 11 guidance, but said 2012 is that revenue may be as much as 2% to 8% lower than 2011 revenue, with revenues declining more in the first half of the year and improving in the second half of the year.
Voxx Intl-a (NASDAQ: VOXX) 25.1% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.39, versus $0.19 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $206.8 million, versus $163.2 million reported last year.
Health Management Associates, Inc. (NYSE: HMA) 21.2% LOWER; sees Q4 operating EPS of 25-26 cents on sales of about $1.58 billion. Sees FY12 EPS of 80-90 cents on sales of $6.3-$6.5 billion.
Francesca's (Nasdaq: FRAN) 19.8% HIGHER; reports sales for the holiday period ended December 31st increased 52.7 percent to $49.2 million. Same-store sales rose 14.1 percent. Now sees Q4 sales of $58.5-$59.5 million and net income of $7.1-$7.6 million, or EPS of 16-17 cents. The Street is currently looking for $55.53 million and EPS of 15 cents. Francesca's had originally expected Q4 sales of $55.5-$57 million and EPS of 14-15 cents.
Hi-Tech Pharmacal (Nasdaq: HITK) 19% LOWER; nose-diving below the 200-day and $42 level amid reports Wockhardt will make a generic version of Flonase. Hi-Tech currently is developing fluticasone, what would be a competitor in this segment.
Charles River Laboratories Inte (NYSE: CRL) 18.5% HIGHER; is seeing upside action Tuesday on renewed takeover speculation. Analysts discussed the possibility of a buyout after DealReporter said the company is pursing a sale.
lululemon (Nasdaq: LULU) 15.3% HIGHER; raises its Q4 EPS guidance from 40-42 cents to 47-49 cents, vs. the consensus of 42 cents. Sales move from $327-$332 million to $358-$363 million, which compares to the Street estimate of $334.5 million. Comps are expected to be up in the low-to-mid twenties percent range. The company cited "stronger than anticipated net revenue for the quarter."
Liz (NYSE: LIZ) 15.2% LOWER; announces its CFO Andrew Warren will be leaving the company. Sees FY11 adj-EBITDA at the low end of its $80-$90 million range. Cuts its FY12 adj-EBITDA outlook from $130-$150 million to $125-$140 million.
Arena Pharma (Nasdaq: ARNA) 15% HIGHER; says FDA accepts resubmission of Lorcaserin NDA; sets PDUFA date as June 27th, 2012.
Complete Genomic (NASDAQ: GNOM) 12.7% LOWER; Oppenheimer downgraded the stock from Outperform to Perform and removes their $8 price target as disappointing preliminary 4Q11 results highlighted by further price erosion, slower-than-expected backlog growth, and another operational misstep.
Cirrus Logic (Nasdaq: CRUS) 12.6% HIGHER; posts Q3 preliminary sales of $122 million, which compares to the Street estimate of $105.08 million. Sees Q4 sales of $105 million, which compares to the Street estimate of $98.5 million.
Focus Media Holding Limited (Nasdaq: FMCN) 12.5% HIGHER; today announced that the Company is implementing a policy starting from 2012 to issue a recurring dividend with payments expected to equal approximately 25% of its annual non-GAAP net income of the preceding fiscal year. The dividends will be paid out on a quarterly basis in the calendar year to shareholders of record as of March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31 respectively. The dividend payments will commence in 2012 in respect of Focus Media's non-GAAP net income for 2011.
Perfect World (Nasdaq: PWRD) 12.3% HIGHER; bouncing over $9 today following a nearly 27 percent plunge yesterday amid rumors of an investigation.
VASCO Data Security (NASDAQ: VDSI) 11.3% HIGHER; Wunderlich Securities upgraded the stock from Hold to Buy, maintains price target of $8.25.
hhgregg (NYSE: HGG) 11.2% LOWER; reports prelim. Q3 sales $829.5 million and EPS of 60 cents. Lowers its FY12 EPS guidance from $1.26-$1.41 to $1.05-$1.15. Sees same-store sales flat to up 2 percent.
Tiffany & Co. (NYSE: TIF) 11% LOWER; today announced that its worldwide net sales in the two months ended December 31st increased 7% over the prior year. Worldwide net sales rose 7% to $952 million in the holiday period, the result of double-digit sales growth in Asia-Pacific and Japan and smaller increases in the Americas and Europe. Lowered its FY12 EPS guidance from $3.70-$3.80 to $3.60-$3.65, which compares to the Street estimate of $3.76 per share.
DSW (NYSE: DSW) 10.6% HIGHER; raises its FY12 EPS guidance from $2.90-$2.95 to $2.96-$2.99, which compares to the Street estimate of $2.95. The company also said it will accelerate its new store openings this year to 35-40 new stores. DSW had previously expected to open just 15-20 stores per year.
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: REGN) 10.4% HIGHER; the company said while the they are still early in the launch, the initial uptake has exceeded expectations. The company noted $24-$25 million in unaudited net sales to distributors in 2011 since the first sale on November 21, 2011. Baird also upgraded the stock this morning.
Nexen Inc. (NYSE: NXY) 9.6% HIGHER; says Marvin Romanow, President and Chief Executive Officer, is leaving the company effective immediately. Kevin Reinhart, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed as interim President and Chief Executive Officer. Kevin will serve in this capacity while the company conducts a search for a new CEO.
Ixia (Nasdaq: XXIA) 8.9% HIGHER; raises its Q4 sales guidance from $79-$82 million to $83-$84 million, which compares to the Street estimate of $81.30 million. Sees both GAAP and non-GAAP EPS at the high end of its previous guidance range.
