TXCO Resources Inc. (Nasdaq: TXCO) 55% LOWER; reports a Q4 loss of $0.51 per share, vs. consensus for an $0.08 loss. Revenues for the three months were $21.0 million vs. $26.35 million consensus. 10-K contains 'Going Concern'.

Sauer-Danfoss (NYSE: SHS) 31% LOWER; reports Q4 loss of $2.09, may not compare to the analyst estimate of ($0.43). Revenues for the quarter were $371.4 million, versus the consensus of $405.2 million. Sees FY09 loss 1.60 to 2.40.

Carmike Cinemas (Nasdaq: CKEC) 30% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $2.27 not comparable to the analyst estimate of ($0.18). Revenues for the quarter were $117.4 million, versus the consensus of $115.48 million.

Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENER) 24% LOWER; because of the lack of visibility caused by the current economic conditions, its prior third quarter and full fiscal year 2009 guidance is no longer applicable. MORE

SkillSoft (Nasdaq: SKIL) 20% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.13, ex-items, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.08. Revenues for the quarter were $80.5 million, versus the consensus of $81.23 million.

Star Bulk Carriers (Nasdaq: SBLK) 20% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.41, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenues for the quarter were $72.8 million, versus the consensus of $59.55 million.

Zhongpin (Nasdaq: HOGS) 14% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.31, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.27. Revenues for the quarter were $139.8 million, versus the consensus of $140.39 million. Zhongpin sees FY09 EPS of $1.50 to $1.63 versus consensus $1.49. Sees FY09 revenue of $780M to $810M versus consensus $781.38M.

Alcoa (NYSE: AA) 11% LOWER; will reduce its dividend, offering $1.1B of common stock and convertible notes. MORE

Nucor Corporation (NYSE: NUE) 10% LOWER; expects first quarter results to be in the range of a loss of $0.55 to $0.65 per diluted share. The consensus was for a profit of $0.43. MORE

United States Steel Corp. (NYSE: X) 6% LOWER; Nucor profit warning

Cenveo (NYSE: CVO) 6% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.48 (ex-items) vs. consensus of $0.35. Revenues were $517.2 million vs. $520.20 million consensus.

FactSet (NYSE: FDS) 5% HIGHER; reports Q2 earnings of $0.71 per share, above the consensus of $0.69. Revenues came in at $156.5 million, versus the consensus of $156.5 million. Sees Q3 EPS of $0.72-$0.74, versus the consensus of $0.70. Sees Q3 revenues of $153-$157 million, versus the consensus of $157 million. FactSet boosted its buyback by $100 million.

Plains All American Pipeline LP (NYSE: PAA) 5% LOWER; priced an underwritten public offering of 5,000,000 common units representing limited partner interests at $36.90 per common unit.

Force Protection (Nasdaq: FRPT) 5% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.17, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenues for the quarter were $239.1 million, versus the consensus of $178.83 million.

The Home Depot, Inc (NYSE: HD) 4% HIGHER; Jefferies upgrades to Buy

CA, Inc. (NYSE: CA) 4% LOWER; RBC Capital downgrades
