Metal ETFs Round-Up for 11/11: PTM, GLD, GDX, SLV Higher; GDXJ Introduced

Metals were up today on a weaker dollar, positively affecting many of the ETF's that track the commodities. Some notables are:

Platinum:
  • E-TRACS UBS Long Platinum ETN (NYSE: PTM) Closed up 3.81% to $16.90
Gold:
  • SPDR Gold Shares (NYSE: GLD) Closes up 1.12% to $109.60.

  • Introduced today was the Market Vectors Junior Gold Miners ETF (NYSE: GDXJ) which tracks smaller companies involved in the metal and mining business. GDXJ's big brother, Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (NYSE: GDX) is up 0.48% to $49.90.
Silver:
  • iShares Silver Trust (NYSE: SLV) Finishes up 1.53% to 17.29.
