LSI Logic Corporation (NYSE: LSI) announced that it has obtained the required LSI shareholder approval of the previously announced merger with Agere Systems (NYSE: AGR) at a special meeting held.
The merger transaction is expected to close on Monday, April 2, 2007 subject to the satisfaction of closing conditions.
