GameStop (GME) Reorganizes Senior Management; Appoints DeMatteo as CEO

GameStop Corp. (NYSE: GME) today announced that its Board has approved a reorganization of the senior management structure:

R. Richard Fontaine, GameStop's Chairman and CEO, will concentrate his focus on international operations, acquisition opportunities and strategic development as Executive Chairman. He will relinquish his CEO role to Daniel DeMatteo.

In addition, J. Paul Raines, will become the company's new COO, effective Sept. 7, 2008.

GameStop Corp. operates as a retailer of video game products and personal computer (PC) entertainment software.
