FUQI International Announces Participation in October Investor Conferences

Shenzhen, China, October 1, 2009 - FUQI International, Inc. (Nasdaq: FUQI) today announced the Company's participation in the following conferences:

    -- Brean Murray Consumer One-on-One Conference, held October 5, 2009 at
       the Grand Hyatt in New York.  Management's participation will consist
       of one-on-one meetings with investors.

    -- William Blair 3rd Annual Emerging Growth Stock Conference, held October
       6, 2009 at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York.  Management's
       participation will consist of a presentation scheduled for 11:00 am
       local time, as well as one-on-one meetings with investors.  A live
