ETF Movers 7/22: Semiconductor HOLDRs (SMH) Slammed, KBW Regional Banking (KRE) Weak

Semiconductor HOLDRs (AMEX: SMH) 4.9% LOWER; Texas Inst (NYSE: TXN), which makes up 21.7% of the assets, is significantly lower today following weak results and guidance.

KBW Regional Banking ETF (AMEX: KRE) 3% LOWER; Weak results from Wachovia (NYSE: WB) and other regional banks.

Energy Select Sector SPDR (AMEX: XLE) 2.8% LOWER; Crude continues lower. Currently down $4 to $127.

Financial Select Sector SPDR (AMEX: XLF) 1.3% LOWER; Weak results from Wachovia (NYSE: WB) and other regional banks.

Biotech HOLDRs (AMEX: BBH) 1.3% HIGHER; Continues higher after yesterday mega-deal in the sector: Roche offered to acquire partner Genentech (NYSE: DNA)
