California Pizza Kitchen (Nasdaq: CPKI) reports Q1 EPS of $0.09, 1 cent worse than the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenue for the quarter was $161.1 million, versus the consensus of $161.14 million.
The Company also outlined its financial guidance for the second quarter of 2009 based on the following assumptions:
Comparable restaurant sales of approximately negative 5.5% to negative 6.5%; Opening three full service restaurants; Opening one international full service franchise restaurant; and Earnings per diluted share of approximately $0.18-$0.20 vs. consensus of $0.20.
