Cal-Maine Foods, Inc. (NASDAQ: CALM) reports Q3 EPS of $1.29, versus the analyst estimate of $1.71 and compared to $2.41 in Q308. Revenue for the quarter was $270 million, versus $278 million reported during the same quarter last year.
Cal-Maine will pay a cash dividend of approximately $0.432 per share to holders of its common and Class A common stock. The amount paid could vary slightly based on the amount of outstanding shares on the record date. The dividend is payable May 14, 2009, to shareholders of record on April 29, 2009.
