Brightpoint, Inc. (Nasdaq: CELL) announced the filing of a shelf-registration statement with the SEC covering the resale of up to 30,000,000 shares of the Company's common stock by NC Telecom Holding A/S.
Upon effectiveness of this registration statement and the filing of the related prospectus and a prospectus supplement, the Selling Shareholder may sell these shares in one or more offerings in a manner described in a prospectus supplement to be filed in connection with any future offering. The registration statement was filed by the Company in accordance with certain registration rights previously granted to the Selling Shareholder under a Registration Rights Agreement entered into with the Company.
