Baldor Electric (NYSE: BEZ) reports Q2 EPS of $0.63, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.62. Revenues for the quarter were $504 million, versus the consensus of $501.76 million.
"We expect sales to increase at a mid-single digit rate during the balance of the year compared to the same period for 2007."
