Novatel Wireless (Nasdaq: MIFI) 28.9% HIGHER; announced that it has entered into an agreement with T.C.L. Industries Holdings, a Hong Kong company (TCL), whereby Novatel Wireless will sell to TCL its mobile broadband business (including its MiFiĀ® branded hotspots and USB modem product lines) for a cash payment of US $50,000,000 payable at closing. The closing of the transaction is subject to the receipt of various regulatory authority approvals, as well as the approval of Novatel Wirelesss stockholders and convertible noteholders. The closing of the transaction is expected to occur in the first quarter of 2017.

Bats Global Market (BATS: BATS) 24.4% HIGHER; CBOE Holdings (NASDAQ: CBOE) is in talks to acquire Bats Global Market (BATS: BATS), Bloomberg reported after markets closed on Thursday citing people familiar with the matter.

Enphase Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: ENPH) 19.8% LOWER; intends to offer and sell shares of its common stock, subject to market and other conditions, in an underwritten public offering. Enphase also expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the number of shares of common stock offered in the public offering to cover over-allotments, if any. Enphase anticipates using the net proceeds from the proposed offering for general corporate purposes, including working capital.

Imperva (NYSE: IMPV) 14% HIGHER; said to draw takeover interest from Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO), IBM (NYSE: IBM) - Bloomberg

Intellipharmaceutics International Inc. (Nasdaq: IPCI) 13.3% LOWER; at the request of Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada on behalf of the Toronto Stock Exchange, confirms that as of the date of this news release, they are not aware of any corporate developments that would cause the recent movement in the Company's share price. SI NOTE: Shares spiked spiked 23% on a bizarre press release/rumor of a buyout bid before being halted.

AAR Corp. (NYSE: AIR) 3.2% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.29, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenue for the quarter came in at $404.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $398.35 million.

8point3 Energy Partners LP (NASDAQ: CAFD) 2.7% LOWER; announced the commencement of an underwritten public offering of 7,000,000 Class A shares representing limited partner interests. In connection with the offering, 8point3 Energy Partners intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,050,000 Class A shares.

Twitter, Inc. (NYSE: TWTR) 2.2% LOWER; RBC Capital downgraded from Sector Perform to Underperform with a price target of $14.00 (from $17.00).
