Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (Nasdaq: MRVL) 10% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.40, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.40. Revenue for the quarter was $896 million, which compares to the estimate of $907.83 million. Announces $500 million shares buyback.
ZOOM Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZOOM) 8.6% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.17, versus $0.86 reported for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $42.9 million, compared to $53.1 million in Q209. Reaffirms FY10 EPS outlook, sees FY10 revs of $210 - $230 million. Sees Q310 revs of $55 - $61 million.
Cost Plus Inc. (Nasdaq: CPWM) 7.9% HIGHER; reports Q2 loss of $0.32, versus ($0.94) reported for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $192.4 million, compared to $183.4 million in Q209. Comps up 5.5%.
salesforce.com, Inc. (NYSE: CRM) 6.9% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.29, ex-items, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.27. Revenue for the quarter was $394.4 million, which compares to the estimate of $384.69 million. Sees Q3 adj-EPS of 30-31c, vs. cons. of 29c. Sees FY11 sales of $1.595-$1.6 billion, vs. the cons. of $1.57 billion. Sees adj-EPS of $1.15-$1.17, which compares to the Street estimate of $1.16.
Intuit, Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU) 5.7% HIGHER; reports Q4 adj-loss of $0.05, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.10). Revenue for the quarter was $537 million, which compares to the estimate of $500.69 million. Approves new $2 billion buyback program. Sees FY11 sales of $3.74-$3.84 billion and EPS of $2.36-$2.43. The Street is looking for FY11 sales of $3.72 billion on EPS of $2.31.
