Zygo Corp. (Nasdaq: ZIGO) 10.1% HIGHER; reports Q4 adj-EPS of $0.26, which may not compare to the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenue for the quarter was $28.5 million.

Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (Nasdaq: MRVL) 10% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.40, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.40. Revenue for the quarter was $896 million, which compares to the estimate of $907.83 million. Announces $500 million shares buyback.

ZOOM Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZOOM) 8.6% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.17, versus $0.86 reported for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $42.9 million, compared to $53.1 million in Q209. Reaffirms FY10 EPS outlook, sees FY10 revs of $210 - $230 million. Sees Q310 revs of $55 - $61 million.

Cost Plus Inc. (Nasdaq: CPWM) 7.9% HIGHER; reports Q2 loss of $0.32, versus ($0.94) reported for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $192.4 million, compared to $183.4 million in Q209. Comps up 5.5%.

salesforce.com, Inc. (NYSE: CRM) 6.9% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.29, ex-items, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.27. Revenue for the quarter was $394.4 million, which compares to the estimate of $384.69 million. Sees Q3 adj-EPS of 30-31c, vs. cons. of 29c. Sees FY11 sales of $1.595-$1.6 billion, vs. the cons. of $1.57 billion. Sees adj-EPS of $1.15-$1.17, which compares to the Street estimate of $1.16.

Intuit, Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU) 5.7% HIGHER; reports Q4 adj-loss of $0.05, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.10). Revenue for the quarter was $537 million, which compares to the estimate of $500.69 million. Approves new $2 billion buyback program. Sees FY11 sales of $3.74-$3.84 billion and EPS of $2.36-$2.43. The Street is looking for FY11 sales of $3.72 billion on EPS of $2.31.

Tyco International (NYSE: TYC) 4.8% HIGHER; will replace Smith Intl. Inc. (NYSE: SII) in the S&P 500 after the close of trading on August 26, 2010.

Canadian Solar Inc. (Nasdaq: CSIQ) 4.4% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.04, 3 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.07. Revenue for the quarter was $336.9 million, which compares to the estimate of $330.97 million. Sees Q2 shipments of 173-177MW.

Blue Coat Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: BCSI) 4.1% LOWER; reports Q2 non-GAAP EPS of $0.40, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.37. Revenue for the quarter was $122.5 million, which compares to the estimate of $124.39 million. Sees Q2 revs of $117 - $124 million and a non-GAAP EPS of $0.34 - $0.40, compared to the consensus revs of $129.02 million and an EPS of $0.39.

China Finance Online Company Ltd. (Nasdaq: JRJC) 3.6% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.02, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.01. Revenue for the quarter was $15.3 million, which compares to the estimate of $14.54 million. Sees FY sales of $56-$62 million, versus the consensus of $61.

Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq: NDSN) 3.6% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $1.30, ex-items, versus the analyst estimate of $1.12. Revenue for the quarter was $279.1 million, which compares to the estimate of $263.83 million. Sees Q4 sales of $283-$293 million, vs. cons. of $281.6 million, sees EPS of $1.30-$1.41, which compares to the Street estimate of $1.16.

Seaspan Corporation (NYSE: SSW) 3.6% LOWER; filed a registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission today to sell, from time to time, up to $1 billion of Common Shares, Preferred Shares, Warrants, Rights, Debt Securities, Units, or any combination thereof.

The Gap, Inc (NYSE: GPS) 3.1% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.36, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.35. Revenue for the quarter was $3.32 billion, which compares to the estimate of $3.31 billion. Reaffirms outlook.

Dell, Inc. (Nasdaq: DELL) 2.3% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.32, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.30. Revenue for the quarter was $15.2 billion, which compares to the estimate of $15.21 billion. Reaffirms outlook.

Verigy, Ltd. (Nasdaq: VRGY) 2.1% HIGHER; reports Q3 non-GAAP EPS of $0.23, 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.16. Revenue for the quarter was $154 million, which compares to the estimate of $147.57 million. Sees Q4 EPS of $0.24 - $0.29 ex-items, and revs of $157 - $167 million. Consensus sees an EPS of $0.22 and revs of $157 million.

Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) 1.8% HIGHER; announced today that its board of directors has authorized a repurchase program of up to $500 million of the Company's outstanding common stock, through January 28, 2012.
