Rick's Cabaret Int'l, Inc (Nasdaq: RICK) 12% LOWER; reports Q2 adjusted EPS of $0.09, versus the analyst estimate of $0.20. Revenue for the quarter was $19.93 million, which compares to the estimate of $20.34 million.
MannKind Corporation (Nasdaq: MNKD) 8.6% LOWER; today announced the commencement of an offering of up to 8,000,000 shares of its common stock. The common stock being offered represent shares of MannKind common stock that MannKind will lend to Bank of America, N.A. Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, an affiliate of Bank of America, is acting as sole book-running manager for the offering.
Cumberland Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: CPIX) 5.1% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.01, 2 cents worse than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter was $10.7 million, which compares to the estimate of $11.22 million. Teekay Offshore Partners L.P. (NYSE: TOO) 5% LOWER; plans to offer 5,000,000 common units, representing limited partner interests, in a public offering. Teekay Offshore expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase an additional 750,000 common units to cover over-allotments, if any. The Partnership expects to use the net proceeds from the public offering for general partnership purposes, including funding the acquisitions of vessels that Teekay Corporation may offer to it. Pending the application of funds for these purposes, the Partnership expects to repay a portion of its outstanding debt under one of its revolving credit facilities.
Delcath Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: DCTH) 4% LOWER; announced the sale of 5,185,000 shares of its common stock pursuant to an underwriting agreement with Canaccord Genuity acting as the sole bookrunner. The last reported sale price of the Company's common stock as reported by the Nasdaq Capital Market on August 16, 2010 was $7.15 per share.
Urban Outfitters (Nasdaq: URBN) 3.7% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.42, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.39. Revenue for the quarter was $552 million, which compares to the estimate of $542.36 million.
