La-Z-Boy Inc. (NYSE: LZB) 26% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.07, ex-items, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.11) and compared to a loss of $0.05 in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter was $284.5 million, versus the consensus of $297.38 million.
McMoRan Exploration Co. (NYSE: MMR) 7.6% LOWER; announced today that it has commenced a public offering of approximately 11 million shares of common stock. The underwriters have an option to purchase from McMoRan up to an additional 1.65 million common shares to cover overallotments, if any. McMoRan also announced today that it has concurrently commenced a public offering of 50,000 shares of convertible perpetual preferred stock.

The offering includes a 30-day option for the underwriters to purchase up to 1,350,000 additional shares to cover overallotments, if any. Harman International intends to use the proceeds from the offering to improve its liquidity and to reduce indebtedness under its revolving credit facility, as well as for general corporate purposes, including potential future business acquisitions.
