Synchronoss Technologies (Nasdaq: SNCR) 45% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.16, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.16. Revenues for the quarter were $29.1 million, versus the consensus of $31.23 million. The company said "We view 2008 as a transition year and expect to improve gross and operating margins in 2009 as new transactions ramp and we gain leverage on our investments."
UTStarcom, Inc. (Nasdaq: UTSI) 25% HIGHER; sees Q1 revenues of of $580 million to $590 million, compared with the initial guidance of $500 million to $520 million. The Wall Street consensus is $515.2 million.
Multi Fineline Electronix (Nasdaq: MFLX) 16.7% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.41, 14 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.27. Revenues for the quarter were $163.9 million, versus the consensus of $152.47 million.
OraSure Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: OSUR) 13.2% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.04, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenues for the quarter were $18.1 million, versus the consensus of $18.39 million. Sees Q2 loss of $0.06-$0.07, versus the consensus of ($0.01). Sees FY08 loss of $0.10-$0.11, versus a gain of $0.05.
Clearwire (Nasdaq: CLWR) 12.4% HIGHER; Reports the company and Sprint are close to a $12B joint venture announcement.
OpenTV Corp. (Nasdaq: OPTV) 11% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.05, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.01). Revenues for the quarter were $33.9 million, versus the consensus of $25.05 million.
Asyst Technologies (Nasdaq: ASYT) 9% LOWER; reports a Q4 loss of $0.21, 10 cents lower than the analyst estimate of ($0.11). Revenues for the quarter were $94.3 million, versus the consensus of $90.90 million. Sees Q1 loss of $0.11-$0.17, versus the consensus of ($0.03).
ON Semiconductor (Nasdaq: ONNN) 8.7% HIGHER; reports Q1 earnings of $0.21 per share, ex-items, 7 cents better than the consensus of $0.14. Revenues came in at $421.9 million, versus the consensus of $386.9 million. Sees Q2 revenues of $545-$560 million, which does not compare to the consensus of $388.65 million.
THQ Inc (Nasdaq: THQI) 6.6% LOWER; reports a Q4 loss of $0.37, 31 cents worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.06). Revenues for the quarter were $217.6 million (non-GAAP), versus the consensus of $200.76 million. For the fiscal first quarter ending June 30, 2008, THQ expects to report net sales in the range of approximately $115 million to $125 million and a net loss per share in the range of approximately $0.38 to $0.42. The anticipated loss reflects a light product release schedule and the timing of expenses. (Revenue consensus is $122.52 million and EPS consensus is loss of $0.18). For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2009, THQ expects net sales in the range of approximately $1,175 million to $1,200 million and operating margins in the high single digits, resulting in earnings per diluted share in the range of approximately $0.95 to $1.05. Brightpoint, Inc. (Nasdaq: CELL) 5% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.09, 3 cents below the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenues for the quarter were $1.2 billion, versus the consensus of $1.38 billion.

Eagle Materials Inc. (NYSE: EXP) 4% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.07, below the analyst estimate of $0.23. Revenues for the quarter were $144.85 million, versus the consensus of $163.08 million.
LSB Industries (NYSE: LXU) 3.7% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.46, 11 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.35. Revenues for the quarter were $160.5 million, versus the consensus of $156.25 million.
Pacer International (Nasdaq: PACR) 3.4% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.41, 12 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.29. Revenues for the quarter were $509.4 million, versus the consensus of $480.46 million.
Walt Disney (NYSE: DIS) 2.4% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.58, 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.51. Revenues for the quarter were $8.71 billion, versus the consensus of $8.47 billion.
Cisco Systems (Nasdaq: CSCO) 1% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.38, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenues for the quarter were $9.8 billion, versus the consensus of $9.75 billion.
Cephalon (Nasdaq: CEPH) INDICATED LOWER; FDA panel votes 3-17 against expanded approval for Cephalon's Fentora. FDA panel says risks are too great to widen marketing.
