Aegean Marine Petroleum (NYSE: ANW) 13% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.10, versus the analyst estimate of $0.28. Revenue for the quarter was $365.4 million, versus the consensus of $485.58 million.
EnerSys (NYSE: ENS) 7.6% LOWER; raises its Q4 adj-EPS guidance from $0.30-$0.34 to $0.36, which compares to the Street estimate of $0.29. Sees Q1 adj-EPS of $0.13-$0.17, versus the Street estimate of $0.31. Sees FY09 non-GAAP EPS of $1.98, versus the consensus of $1.91.
Whole Foods Market (Nasdaq: WFMI) 6.5% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.24, ex-items, or $0.19 before items, versus the analyst estimate of $0.18. Revenue for the quarter was $1.86 billion, versus the consensus of $1.87 billion. Same store sales fell 5.8%. Reaffirms forecast for FY EPS: sees EPS of $0.71-$0.76, versus the consensus of $0.71.
American Science and Engineering (Nasdaq: ASEI) 4% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.92, versus the analyst estimate of $1.04. Revenue for the quarter was $57.3 million, versus the consensus of $67.59 million.
Jack in the Box (Nasdaq: JACK) 2.8% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.51, 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter was $578.4 million, versus the consensus of $588.46 million. Sees FY09 EPS of $2.08-$2.20, versus the consensus of $2.05.
URS Corporation (NYSE: URS) 2.7% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.92, versus analyst estimate of $0.63. Revenue for the quarter was $2.52 billion, versus the consensus of $2.34 billion. Reaffirms its FY09 sales guidance of $9.5-$10 billion, with GAAP EPS of $2.80-$2.95. The Street is currently expecting FY09 sales and EPS of $9.87 billion and $2.93, respectively.
Spartan Stores, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPTN) 2.1% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.41, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.38. Revenue for the quarter was $581.3 million, versus the consensus of $601.56 million.
Opnet Technologies (Nasdaq: OPNT) 1.8% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.00 versus the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter was $28.9 million, versus the consensus of $30.61 million. Opnet sees Q1 revenues $29M to $31M versus $32 million consensus. Sees GAAP EPS of a loss of 1c to plus 5c versus consensus of $0.08, but may not compare.
