Volcom (Nasdaq: VLCM) 16.9% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.38, 17 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.21. Revenues for the quarter were $80.6 million, versus the consensus of $69.54 million. Sees Q2 EPS of $0.16-$0.17, versus the consensus of $0.25. Sees Q2 revs of $69-$70M, versus the consensus of $71.5 million. Sees FY EPS of $1.56-$1.59, versus the consensus of $1.51.
Network Equipment Technologies (NYSE: NWK) 15% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.09, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.07. Revenues for the quarter were $33.4 million, versus the consensus of $33.92 million.

iRobot Corp. (Nasdaq: IRBT) 14% LOWER; reports a Q1 loss of $0.16, in-line with the analyst estimate of ($0.16). Revenues for the quarter were $57.3 million, versus the consensus of $55.01 million. Sees FY08 EPS of $0.12-$0.17, versus the consensus of $0.23. Sees FY08 revs of $295-$30.5 million, versus $298 million.

MICROS System (Nasdaq: MCRS) 11% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.34, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.33. Revenues for the quarter were $237.2 million, versus the consensus of $231.33 million. Sees FY08 EPS of atleast $1.32, versus the consensus of $1.37.

Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: PSYS) 11% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.46, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.43. Revenues for the quarter were $429.7 million, versus the consensus of $423.08 million. Sees FY08 EPS of $2.00-$2.03, versus the consensus of $1.98.

Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE: LVS) 10% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.07, 29 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenues for the quarter were $1.08 billion, versus the consensus of $1.24 billion.

Amkor Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMKR) 9.8% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.36, 10 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenues for the quarter were $699 million, versus the consensus of $684.25 million. Sees Q2 EPS of $0.32-$0.36, versus the consensus of $0.28.

JDS Uniphase (Nasdaq: JDSU) 9% LOWER; reports Q3 adj-EPS of $0.14, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenues for the quarter were $383.9 million, versus the consensus of $393.64 million. Sees Q4 revs of $381-$403 million, versus the consensus of $405.8 million.
