After-Hours Movers 2/29: NOC Up on Surprise Contract; FRPT Down on 10-K Delay; BA Hurt By Northrup Deal;
Force Protection, Inc. (NASDAQ: FRPT) 20.9% LOWER; will delay the filing of its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2007. The Company intends to file its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2007 with the SEC promptly upon the completion of the audit of the consolidated financial statements for the year ended 2007. Force Protection today also announced that the Company’s Audit Committee concluded that the Company will restate its previously reported interim financial statements for the three and nine month periods ended September 30, 2007.
Boeing (NYSE: BA) 3.4% LOWER; Northrop Grumman announced it won a $30-$40 billion contract with the Air Force for the production of 179 tankers used to refuel military aircraft mid-flight. The contract was a huge surprise to Wall Street as Boeing has been the supply of these refueling tankers for the last 50 years.
