Rent-A-Center (Nasdaq: RCII) 11.6% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.54, ex-items, 10 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter was $699.8 million, versus the consensus of $697.43 million. Same store sales for the quarter were flat. Sees Q1 sales of $721-$741 million, versus the consensus of $748.15 million. Same store sales for the quarter are expected to be flat to down 2%. Q1 EPS are expected to be $0.54-$0.60, versus the consensus of $0.52. For FY09, same store sales are expected to be flat on revs of $2.83-$2.89 billion, versus the Street estimate of $2.85 billion. FY09 EPS are expected to be in the range of $2.15-$2.32, versus the consensus of $2.00.

SanDisk Corp. (Nasdaq: SNDK) 10% LOWER; reports Q4 loss of $0.65, 5 cents lower than the analyst estimate of ($0.60). Revenue for the quarter was $864 million, versus the consensus of $766.72 million. Sees Q1 sales of $475-$575 million, well below the consensus of $631.7 million.

Trident Microsystems (Nasdaq: TRID) 9.4% LOWER; reports Q2 loss of $0.11, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.13). Revenue for the quarter was $19.2 million, versus the consensus of $21.40 million. Sees Q3 revs of $5-$6 million, versus the consensus of $18 million. Sees Q3 operating loss of $15 million.

Atheros Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATHR) 4.9% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.17, 8 cents below the analyst estimate of $0.25. Revenue for the quarter was $98.3 million, versus the consensus of $86.55 million.

ICU Medical, Inc., (Nasdaq: ICUI) 3.3% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.61 vs. consensus of $0.43 - only 1 analyst. Revenues were $56.7 million vs. $51.04 million consensus. For the full fiscal year of 2009, management expects to generate revenue in the range of $215 million to $225 million and expects diluted earnings in the range of $1.58 to $1.70 per share. (FY09 revenue consensus is $212.80 million and EPS consensus is $1.63)
