ZymoGenetics, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZGEN) 9% LOWER; today announced a restructuring of the U.S. co-promotion and ex-U.S. license and collaboration agreements with Bayer Schering Pharma AG and Bayer HealthCare relating to RECOTHROM Thrombin, topical (Recombinant). Effective January 1, 2010, ZymoGenetics regains full promotion rights in the United States and all ex-U.S. rights except in Canada, where Bayer will market and sell the product. Clarient, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLRT) 8% HIGHER; today announced that it has acquired privately held, Huntsville, AL-based Applied Genomics, Inc. in an all-stock merger valued at up to $17.6 million, if all conditions and milestones set forth in the merger agreement are successfully met. As a result of the merger, AGI has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Clarient.

Take-Two (Nasdaq:
TTWO) 6.6% LOWER; SYNNEX (NYSE: SNX) announced that it will acquire Take-Two's Jack of All Games today. Following the announcement Take-Two has issued some updated guidance: Sees Q1 adj-loss of $0.45-$0.55 and sales of $90-$140 million, down from a loss of $0.40-$0.50 and sales of $210-$260 million previously. The Street is currently looking for Q1 loss of $0.47 on sales of $227.32 million. Sees FY10 adj-EPS of $0.48-$0.68 and sales of $710-$910 million, down from a loss of $0.40-$0.60 on sales of $1-$1.2 billion. The Street is currently looking for FY10 loss of $0.48 on sales of $1.13 billion.

Jabil Circuit, Inc. (NYSE: JBL) 5.1% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.32, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.29. Revenue for the quarter was $3.1 billion, which compares to the estimate of $3.11 billion. Sees Q2 EPS of $0.20-$0.32.

PDL BioPharma, Inc. (Nasdaq: PDLI) 2% HIGHER; today announced that it has entered into a non-exclusive license agreement with Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE: LLY) under PDL's Queen et al patents with respect to teplizumab, a humanized anti-CD3 monoclonal antibody, as well as other potential next generation anti-CD3 molecules. Teplizumab is currently being studied by Lilly and its partner MacroGenics for the treatment of individuals with newly-diagnosed type 1 diabetes mellitus. No other details of the licensing agreement were made available.

Boyd Gaming Corporation (NYSE: BYD) 2% HIGHER; today announced it amended its First Amended and Restated Credit Agreement dated as of May 24, 2007. Click here for the full report.

Jones Soda Co. (NASDAQ: JSDA) 1.6% LOWER; today announced that it has received written indication of interest from Big Red Holdings Corporation, the parent company of Big Red, Inc., one of the top ten carbonated soft drink companies in the U.S. that markets Big Red soda and other flavored soft drinks, in acquiring the company for a cash purchase price of $0.30 per share of common stock. The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV) 1% LOWER; today announced that it has entered into two reinsurance agreements with Longpoint Re II Ltd., a newly formed Cayman Islands insurance company, each providing up to $250 million of reinsurance from losses resulting from certain hurricane events in the northeastern United States. Cephalon, Inc. (NASDAQ: CEPH) 1% LOWER; today announced that the FDA has extended the action date to March 29, 2010, for its review of the supplemental New Drug Application for NUVIGIL (armodafinil) Tablets [C-IV]. The sNDA is for the indication of improved wakefulness in patients with excessive sleepiness associated with jet lag disorder due to eastbound travel.
