SMART Modular Technologies (Nasdaq: SMOD) 11.6% HIGHER; reports Q1 adj-EPS of $0.08, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter was $123.1 million, which compares to the estimate of $115.74 million. Sees Q2 adj-EPS of $0.09-$0.11, versus the consensus of $0.01, on sales of $125-$135 million, versus the consensus of $105.46 million.

Research In Motion Limited (NASDAQ: RIMM) 11% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $1.10, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $1.04. Revenue for the quarter was $3.9 billion, which compares to the estimate of $3.78 billion. Sees Q409 revs of $4.2 - $4.4 billion, versus $4.15 consensus. Also sees Q409 EPS $1.23 - $1.31, versus $1.12 consensus.

Luby's Inc. (NYSE: LUB) 7.1% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $0.10, versus a loss of $0.05 in Q109. Revenue for the quarter was $48.4 million, compared to $57 million in the same quarter last year. Quarterly comps were down 13.3%.

Palm, Inc. (Nasdaq: PALM) 6.1% LOWER; reports Q2 adj-loss of $0.37, 5 cents worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.32). Revenue for the quarter was $302 million, which compares to the estimate of $266.17 million.

Oracle Corp. (Nasdaq: ORCL) 6% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.39, versus the conensus of $0.36. Revenues came in at $5.9 billion, versus the consensus of $5.7 billion. Sees Q3 adj-EPS of $0.36-$0.38, versus the consensus of $0.36, and sales growth of 3-6%.

Darden Restaurants (NYSE: DRI) 3% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.43, 1 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.42. Revenue for the quarter was $1.64 billion, which compares to the estimate of $1.65 billion. Sees FY10 EPS of $2.65-$2.76, versus the consensus of $2.75.

Accenture plc (NYSE: ACN) 2.4% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.71, ex-items, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.65. Revenue for the quarter was $5.75 billion, which compares to the estimate of $5.42 million. Accenture sees Q2 revenues of $5.1-$5.3 billion, versus the consensus of $5.43 billion. Accenture reaffirms FY sales gudiance. Sees FY10 EPS of $2.67-$2.75, up 2 cents, versus the consensus of $2.71.

Nike (NYSE: NKE) 2.3% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.76, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.71. Revenue for the quarter was $4.4 billion, which compares to the estimate of $4.4 billion.

Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO) 2% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.09, even with the analyst estimate of ($0.09). Revenue for the quarter was $343.4 million, which compares to the estimate of $340.4 million. Also, probably affecting the stock more this evening, Carl Ichn disclosed an 11.3% stake in the stock.

LDK Solar (NYSE: LDK) 2% LOWER; shares are falling after-hours following the filing of a Form 8-K with the SEC. In the filing, LDK announced that it has signed an indicative term sheet with VMS Investment Group Ltd. and its affiliates, pursuant to which VMS has agreed to subscribe between $50-$80 million aggregate amount of redeemable and convertible preference shares of the Cayman Islands subsidiary, which is to be created to hold and operate LDK Solar’s polysilicon business, valuing the entity at $1.30 billion to $1.65 billion.
