After-Hours Movers 12/09: PLL, OXM, ISSC, NBIX Higher; CYTK, ALOG, MSL Lower

Pall Corp. (NYSE: PLL) 8.7% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.40, ex-items, inline with the analyst estimate of $0.40. Revenue for the quarter was $546.9 million, which compares to the estimate of $558.98 million.

Cytokinetics, Incorporated (NASDAQ: CYTK) 6.7% LOWER; Cytokinetics announced that it has agreed with GlaxoSmithKline (NYSE: GSK) to terminate their collaboration and license agreement, effective February 28, 2010. As a result, all rights for GSK-923295, an inhibitor of centromere-associated protein E (CENP-E), will revert to Cytokinetics effective February 28, 2010.

Oxford Industries Inc. (NYSE: OXM) 5.6% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.32, ex-items, versus the analyst estimate of $0.18. Revenue for the quarter was $200.5 million, which compares to the estimate of $205.43 million. Raises its FY09 adj-EPS from $0.90-$1.05 to $1.20-$1.25 and sales from $765-$780 million to $790-$800 million.

Innovative Solutions and Support, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISSC) 4.2% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.03, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.02. Revenue for the quarter was $7.9 million, which compares to the estimate of $7 million.

Analogic Corporation (Nasdaq: ALOG) 3.8% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.10, ex-items, 9 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter was $95.4 million, which compares to the estimate of $92.44 million.

Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: NBIX) 3.3% HIGHER; today announced top-line efficacy and safety results from the Tulip PETAL Study (703 Study), its fifth Phase 2 clinical trial using its proprietary, orally-active nonpeptide Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone receptor antagonist, elagolix, in patients with endometriosis. KBR (NYSE: KBR) 3% HIGHER; announced today that it has been awarded a Contracted Construction, Maintenance and Services Agreement by DuPont (NYSE: DD). The award covers a three year period. KBR will provide supplemental maintenance and small construction services to DuPont at 19 of its production facilities across the northeast United States and Gulf Coast regions. Permanent presence work teams will be located at each facility to complete construction and maintenance projects as directed by DuPont.

The Western Union Company (NYSE: WU) 2.8% HIGHER; announced today that its board of directors has declared an increase in the company's dividend, to $0.06 per common share paid quarterly, or $0.24 annualized. The dividend represents an increase from the previous annual dividend of $0.04 per common share. The company also authorized a new $1 billion share repurchase authorization. The new $1 billion, three year share repurchase authorization is effective as of January 1, 2010.

MidSouth Bancorp, Inc. (Amex: MSL) 2% LOWER; announced today that it has commenced an offering of up to $30 million of its common stock in an underwritten public offering with Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett, Inc. acting as sole book running manager and Sterne, Agee & Leach, Inc. and FIG Partners, LLC serving as co-managers. MidSouth intends to grant the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional $4.5 million of common stock offered to cover over-allotments, if any.

Momenta Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: MNTA) 2% LOWER; filed a registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission today to sell, from time to time, up to $150 million of Common Stock, Preferred Stock, Debt Securities, Warrants, or any combination thereof.
