China Finance Online (Nasdaq: JRJC) 14% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.28, 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.21. Revenue for the quarter was $15.23 million, versus the consensus of $16.22 million. Sees Q4 sales of $14.5-$15 million, versus the consensus of $18.72 million.
Citi Trends, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTRN) 5% HIGHER; reports Q3 loss of $0.05, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.10). Revenue for the quarter was $104.9 million, versus the consensus of $104.90 million. Sees FY08 EPS of $0.95-$1.05, versus the consensus of $0.99 and sees same store sales down 3-6%.
Spansion, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPSN) 3% LOWER; announced that in anticipation of a weak holiday season, Spansion's customers are shutting down factories, and slowing down manufacturing run rates. As a result, Spansion anticipates that net sales for Q408 will be approximately 20% lower than its previous quarter. Spansion is taking action by cutting cost of goods sold by approximately 15%, and further reducing operating expenses.
Analog Devices Inc. (NYSE: ADI) 2.6% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.49, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter was $661 million, versus the consensus of $655.07 million. The company sees Q1 EPS of $0.22-$0.23, ex-restructing charges, which is below the Street consensus of $0.35. The company sees revenues down 20% sequentially.
Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) 1.8% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $1.03, ex-items, which is in-line with its preliminary results. Revenue for the quarter was $33.6 billion, versus the consensus of $33.32 billion. Repeats forecast given last week.
