After-Hours Movers 11/16: ZOOM, SPRD, LFT, SINA Higher; PSUN, ADG, SIVB, AOB, SII, TGP Lower

ZOOM Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: ZOOM) 41.8% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.73 and revenue for the quarter was $55.3 million. Sees FY sales of $185-$195 millio

Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc. (NASDAQ: PSUN) 21.1% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.17, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.20). Revenue for the quarter was $268 million, which compares to the estimate of $260.08 million. SSS down 18%. Loss Q4 loss of $0.28-$0.35, versus the consensus of a $0.11 loss.

The Allied Defense Group, Inc. (NYSE: ADG) 14% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.39, versus a loss of $0.77 in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter was $36.2 million, which compares to the estimate of $37.91 million.

Spreadtrum Communications (NASDAQ: SPRD) 13.3% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.06, ex-items, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.07). Revenue for the quarter was $38.4 million, which compares to the estimate of $33.28 million. Sees Q4 sales of $37-$40 million.

SVB Financial Group (NASDAQ: SIVB) 9.5% LOWER; today announced that it intends to offer, subject to market and other conditions, approximately $300,000,000 of common stock. In connection with the offering, the underwriters will have an option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the number of shares of common stock sold in the offering to cover over-allotments, if any.

American Oriental Bioengineering Inc. (NYSE: AOB) 9.2% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.13, versus the analyst estimate of $0.17. Revenue for the quarter was $78.8 million, which compares to the estimate of $88.56 million.

Longtop Financial Technologies Limited (NYSE: LFT) 6% HIGHER; reports Q3 adjusted EPS of $0.40, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenue for the quarter was $42.80 million, which compares to the estimate of $37.63 million. Raises FY10 sales to $158 million from $145 million previously, and also raised EPS estimatesfrom $1.22 to 1.29.

Smith International, Inc. (NYSE: SII) 5.1% LOWER; commenced a public offering of 28,000,000 shares of its common stock. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for debt repayment, general corporate purposes, and funding of potential acquisitions or investments.

Teekay LNG Partners L.P. (NYSE: TGP) 5% LOWER; announced today that it plans to offer 3,500,000 common units representing limited partner interests in a public offering. Teekay LNG expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase an additional 525,000 common units to cover over-allotments, if any. The Partnership expects to use the net proceeds from the public offering to repay amounts outstanding on one of its revolving credit facilities. The Partnership may reborrow the amounts it repays on the facility.

TLC Vision Corp. (Nasdaq: TLCV) 5% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.04, inline with the analyst estimate of ($0.04). Revenue for the quarter was $51.6 million, which compares to the estimate of $50.32 million.

SunPower Corp. (Nasdaq: SPWRA) 4.6% LOWER; today announced that based upon an internal review of its Philippine manufacturing operations, the company believes there may have been unsubstantiated accounting entries made in the first three quarters of 2009, some of which relate to the company's fiscal year ended December 28, 2008. Management informed the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of these entries and the Audit Committee immediately commenced an investigation of the matter, which is ongoing. The company's Audit Committee and management have discussed these issues with the company's independent auditors. Based upon the preliminary findings of the ongoing investigation, the Audit Committee to date has identified accounting entries in the Philippines that may have overstated expenses in its cost of goods sold of approximately $1 million in the first quarter ending March 29, 2009, and understated expenses in its cost of goods sold of approximately $14 million in the second quarter ending June 28, 2009 and approximately $2 million in the third quarter ending September 27, 2009.

SINA Corporation (NASDAQ: SINA) 3.2% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.34, ex-items, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.31. Revenue for the quarter was $96.4 million, which compares to the estimate of $94.39 million. Sees Q4 advertising sales of $61-$63 million and non-advertising sales of $32-$33 million.
