Crocs, Inc. (Nasdaq: CROX) 37% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $1.79, which includes items and may not compare to the analyst estimate of $0.02. Revenue for the quarter was $174.2 million, versus the consensus of $201.72 million. Sees Q4 revs of $100-$120 million, versus the consensus of $186 million and a loss of $0.50-$0.65, versus the consensus of a loss of $0.06.
Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) 7% LOWER; cut its Q4 guidance. The company now sees Q4 revenue to be $9 billion, plus or minus $300 million, lower than the previous expectation of between $10.1 billion and $10.9 billion. The Wall Street consensus is $10.36 billion. Revenue is being affected by significantly weaker than expected demand in all geographies and market segments. In addition, the PC supply chain is aggressively reducing component inventories.
SINA Corporation (Nasdaq: SINA) 4% HIGHER; reports Q3 non-GAAP EPS of $0.44, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.41. Revenue for the quarter was $105.4 million, versus the consensus of $102.66 million. Sees Q4 sales of $98-$101 million, versus the consensus of $98.7 million.
National Semiconductor (NYSE: NSM) 2% LOWER; now expects sales for the second quarter to range from approximately $420 million to $425 million, or down approximately 9 to 10 percent sequentially, below its prior guidance of $470 million to $480 million. The Wall Street consensus is $461 million.
