After-Hours Movers 1/08: Spectrum Control (SPEC) Down Apollo Group (APOL) Higher On Results

Spectrum Control (Nasdaq: SPEC) 16% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.23, 2 cents worse than the analyst estimate of $0.25. Revenues for the quarter were $34.7 million, versus the consensus of $36 million.

Apollo Group (Nasdaq: APOL) 7.8% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.83, 10 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.73. Revenues for the quarter were $780.7 million, versus the consensus of $750.91 million.

ONEOK, Inc. (NYSE: OKE) 4.5% HIGHER; ONEOK and ONEOK Partners, L.P. (NYSE: OKS) issued their 2008 earnings guidance and increased their 2007 earnings guidance. ONEOK's net income guidance for 2008 is in the range of $2.75 to $3.15 per diluted share. ONEOK also increased its net income guidance for 2007 to $2.75 to $2.79 per diluted share, reflecting better than anticipated performance in its ONEOK Partners segment. ONEOK's previous 2007 earnings guidance was estimated to be in the range of $2.62 to $2.72 per diluted share.

E*TRADE Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: ETFC) 4% LOWER; Continues today's 20% downside move which was related to liquidity concerns.

Corinthian Colleges (Nasdaq: COCO) 3.5% HIGHER; Strong results from Apollo Group.
