After-Hours Movers 10/30: Electronic Arts (ERTS) Lower Following Results; Akamai (AKAM) Higher

Bare Escentuals, Inc. (Nasdaq: BARE) 26% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.25, 1 cent worse than the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenue for the quarter was $130.2 million, versus the consensus of $142.76 million. Based on the Company's third quarter results and the impact of the challenging consumer environment on current business trends, the Company now expects sales and earnings growth for fiscal 2008 of approximately 10% compared to the prior year. Included in the fiscal 2008 guidance is approximately $0.01 to $0.02 per diluted share of one-time items associated with the Company’s strategic restructuring in the fourth quarter.

Electronic Arts (Nasdaq: ERTS) 13% LOWER; reports Q2 loss of $0.06, in-line with the analyst estimate of ($0.06). Revenue for the quarter was $894 billion, versus the consensus of $1.08 billion. Sees FY09 EPS of $1.00-$1.40, versus the consensus of $1.42 and revs of $4.9-$5.15 billion, versus the consensus of $5.04 billion.

Akamai Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: AKAM) 11% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.40, 1 centsbetter than the analyst estimate of $0.39. Revenue for the quarter was $197.3 million, versus the consensus of $195.21 million.

Thoratec (Nasdaq: THOR) 10% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.17, 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenue for the quarter was $80.8 million, versus the consensus of $69.4 million. Sees FY08 EPS of $0.54-$0.59, versus the consensus of $0.52 and revs of $302-$308 million, versus the consensus of $295 million.

Actions Semiconductor (Nasdaq: ACTS) 9.7% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.09, 2 cents below the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenue for the quarter was $27.3 million, versus the consensus of $27.31 million. Sees Q4 EPS 4c to 6c versus 12c. Sees FY08 revenues $18M to $22M versus $29.5M. Buying back up to 8M shares.

Southwestern Energy (NYSE: SWN) reports Q3 EPS of $0.63, which may not compare to the analyst estimate of $0.41.

J. M. Smucker Co. (NYSE: SJM) 3.5% HIGHER; will replace Terex Corporation (NYSE: TEX) in the S&P 500.

thinkorswim Group Inc. (Nasdaq: SWIM) 3% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.29, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.24. Revenue for the quarter was $98.1 million, versus the consensus of $93.10 million.

LaserCard Corporation (Nasdaq: LCRD) 1% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.02, 20 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.18). Revenue for the quarter was $13.5 million, versus the consensus of $9.55 million.

Town Sports International Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: CLUB) INDICATED LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.16, 3 cents below the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter was $128.1 million, versus the consensus of $128.72 million. Sees FY08 EPS 62c to 66c versus 83c. Sees FY08 revenue $504M to $508M versus $512M.
