Tempur-Pedic International, Inc. (NYSE: TPX) 18% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.70, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.69. Revenue for the quarter came in at $347.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $364 million. Tempur-Pedic International, Inc. sees FY2012 EPS of ~$2.55, versus the consensus of $2.78. Tempur-Pedic International, Inc. sees FY2012 revenue of ~$1.4 billion, versus the consensus of $1.43 billion.

United Therapeutics Corporation (NASDAQ: UTHR) 8% LOWER; received a complete response letter from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) declining to approve its new drug application (NDA) for treprostinil diethanolamine extended release tablets (oral treprostinil) for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).

Sirius XM Radio, Inc. (NASDAQ: SIRI) 2% LOWER; Mel Karmazin informed its Board of Directors that he will be leaving the Company on February 1, 2013, following the expiration of his current employment agreement and after a transition period. Mr. Karmazin will also leave the Board of Directors at that time.

Amgen, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMGN) 1% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $1.67, $0.20 better than the analyst estimate of $1.47. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.32 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.25 billion. Amgen, Inc. sees FY2012 EPS of $6.50-6.60, versus the consensus of $6.35.
