After-Hours Movers 10/12: ULCM, ANTP, EXFO, SCLN, CSX, INTC Higher; MGM, LLTC, CVX Lower

Phazar Corp. (Nasdaq: ANTP) 28% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.11, versus $0.12 reported for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $2.54 million, compared to $1.86 million in Q109.

EXFO (Nasdaq: EXFO) 11.5% HIGHER; reports Q4 GAAP EPS of $0.08, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter was $63.2 million, which compares to the estimate of $57.81 million.

MGM (NYSE: MGM) 7% LOWER; announces plans to offer 40.9 million shares. Reports Q3 preliminary results: adj-loss of 21c, vs. the consensus of a loss of 24c. Also says it has gotten an offer for a 50% stake in Borgata and a separate $125 million offer for a Macau venture.

SciClone Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: SCLN) 3.7% HIGHER; reports revenue for the third quarter of $22.8 million, compared to $17.2 million in Q309. Cash, cash equivalents and investments were $53.3 million at September 30, 2010, compared with $31.8 at December 31, 2009.

Linear Tech (Nasdaq: LLTC) 3.4% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.67, ex-items, 6 cents higher than the analyst estimate of $0.61. Revenue for the quarter was $388.6 million, which compares to the estimate of $383.92 million. Sees Q2 sales flat to down 4% vs. Q1. Board authorized a 10 million share buyback of its common stock.

CSX (NYSE: CSX) 2% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $1.08, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $1.04. Revenue for the quarter was $2.7 billion, which compares to the estimate of $2.66 billion. Company raised its FY10 capital investment from $1.7 to $1.8 billion.

Chevron (NYSE: CVX) 1% LOWER; issues interim update for Q3: sees quarterly earnings lower than Q2, sees non-cash forex effect cutting earnings about $400 million. Click here to see the full report.

Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) 0.8% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.52, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.50. Revenue for the quarter was $11 billion, which compares to the estimate of $10.99 billion. Gross margin 66%. Sees Q4 sales of $11.4 billion, plus or minus $400 million, vs. the consensus of $11.33 billion. Sees gross margin of 67%, plus or minus couple % points.
